After check-in board the vessel, grab a coffee or tea, a Danish pastry, fresh fruit & settle in. After just over an hour we arrive at our first Great Barrier Reef destination - the beautiful "Wonder Wall " on the outer edge of Upolu reef. Snorkel, SCUBA (extra) this stunning reef site teaming with fish and marine life. Experience an informative complimentary Glass Bottom Boat & Adventure Drift Snorkel tour with our very attentive guides. After a morning of activities enjoy a large scrumptious lunch as we cruise to Upolu Cay. Snorkel this "coral garden" tropical oasis - look out for turtles & sting rays! When conditions allow you can even land on this glistening white coral Cay! Enjoy six hours of snorkelling, relaxing between these 2 uniquely different reef sites. After a magical day we return to Cairns serving fresh fruit, cheese and crackers and cake arriving back in Cairns by around 4.15 pm . Ocean Freedom travels to two Great Barrier Reef sites - "Wonder Wall" on the Outer Edge of Upolu reef (a truly magnificent snorkel and dive site) and Upolu Cay Reef - a beautiful shallow turquoise coral garden site. Upolu Cay site is truly magnificent - picture a coral garden reef with lots of colourful reef fish darting in and out of the staghorn coral as you snorkel in these crystal clear shallow waters surrounding Upolu Cay. Look out for turtles popping to the surface for a breath of air, stingrays eagerly scouring the bottom for food. Sometimes you can stand thigh deep on the Cay in the middle of the ocean, other days we can land on this glistening white beautiful coral cay - each day a little mystery of nature but always we have the stunning turquoise waters to snorkel in and around this magnificent Great Barrier Reef area. Make sure you have your camera ready for this truly picturesque site!

The day was absolutely AMAZING! The staff on board were all friendly, accommodating and made the trip so fun. They made sure to give everyone the best day they could. We got to explore beautiful reefs and we were so lucky to be able to see and swim with turtles, we saw sting rays and from a distance saw a tiger shark. If you’re going to book any tour to the reefs, this is number 1. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough!

My parents and I had a fantastic day with Ocean Freedom! The staff was super friendly, enthousiastic and knowledgeable. They did everything to make sure that we felt safe and comfortable while diving and snorkeling. There was also plenty of good food. We would definitely recommend this tour!

We got pretty unlucky yesterday, the ocean was very choppy and visibility under the water was very poor for snorkeling. The first morning stop at the “great wall” was not too bad though there is no wall there at all. The second stop horrible, very little of corals spread over sandy ocean floor, with murky waters it was impossible to see them at all. The crew was wonderful and was throng to do their best to help us navigate thru the waves but snorkeling in groups (for safety) around the group leader was a nonsense and very disappointing experience.

The tour was worth the price! The crew was very friendly and caring and gave a lot of effort to create the best experience for everyone. The boat was really nice too, we got a breakfast, free drinks, lunch and snacks. We had a lot of time to dive or snorkel at the two spots we stayed and the crew showed us the best places where to snorkel and told us about what we could see. The amount of people that fit in the boat is really good because there are not to many people swimming and diving around and the crew was able to take care of everyone individually. In all they did the most to give us a wonderful experience and they did a great job!:)

The crew was absolutely the BEST! They seemed genuinely happy about doing their jobs and helping us to have a wonderful time. There was lots of fresh fruit, crackers and cheese, fantastic lunch and desert cakes. Their attention to our group whole snorkeling was commendable. When proving help they never make anyone feel like they were weak or incapable in the water but uniquely made assisting us fun. I can’t imagine finding a better outfitter for the reef snorkel or dive for the day. Thank You

This trip was amazing. The staff made you feel welcome, safe and built your confidence to scuba dive if that’s your intention. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to take us out to see this magnificent thing.
