Your Itinerary

Obelisco della Piazza dell'Unita italiana

Sit back and relax as we take a 2.25 hour ride via comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Your guide will entertain you with tales of the area as you cross two regions: Tuscany and Liguria. Both are rich with history, cultures and traditions that deserve to be told. Upon arrival, you’ll be escorted to a quaint and comfortable local train. Enjoy the journey along the coast line, breathing in the fresh sea air and admiring a view like no other.

Vernazza

The first stop brings you to the town of Vernazza, one of the most stunning places on the West Coast of Italy. You’ll notice fishermen’s boats docked daintily by the beach, colorful homes peppering the scenery, an old house looming on the horizon. It’s quite breathtaking. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful village on your own, seeing what you want, as you wish.

Monterosso

We’ll once again catch the train and continue our journey down the Ligurian coast and stop at Monterosso, the largest town among the Cinque Terre. Here, you will enjoy free time to wander around the charming town and to taste the delicious flavors of the Ligurian cuisine. If you want to make the most out of this Cinque Terre experience, we also offer an optional 45 minutes light hike, for those who want to see the stunning mainland and coastline scenery from a different perspective. Let your tour leader guide you through the terraced vineyards, the ancient olive groves and the spectacular panoramic views that will stay in your memories forever.

Monterosso public beach (Fegina)

After the hike, you will still be able to enjoy free time in Monterosso and relax in Fegina beach, the most stunning beach of Cinque Terre. Along the promenade you'll find restaurants, pubs and ice-cream shops. So, the choice is entirely yours!

Manarola

Then it is “all aboard!” as you are taken by train to the charming town of Manarola, characterized by its narrow streets and small square looking out over the sea. It is so picturesque it will seem like you’ve stepped into a Renaissance painting. But it is entirely authentic, we assure you.

La Spezia

Be sure to savour your final sampling of the Liguria region’s famous flavors, including its highly prized pesto, because soon you’ll be back on board the train for a quick ride to your private air-conditioned coach to Florence. Use this return trip to rest while relishing in the wonderful memories just collected on this one-of-a-kind tour. You deserve it.

It was worth every penny. My tour leader Mr. Nathan Smith is very good and informative. The tour was packed with activities and the arrangement was very smooth. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Sheridan_W

The guide was so nice but the tour is unnecessary. You can do this on your own on the trains. I’m glad I went but I would do it on my own next time. Even if you are unsure, try it yourself.

We had a blast! The day was long, but our guides, Dani and Juliano, were wonderful and made the day very enjoyable for the entire experience.

Beautiful scenery of course. BUT extraordinarily complicated/stress-inducing logistics requiring SEVEN MILES OF WALKING and INSUFFICIENT bathroom stops. And, after all that, no entrance ticket to Pisa! Why were those details not made known in advance? 7:15 am - 8:30 pm. An all around painful and exhausting day. Would never recommend it to anyone but the most young/hardy.

The reason I gave this outing two stars and not one was that the bus driver got us back safely. Our tour guide Daniela could not have been more dismissive. This was absolutely NO guided tour, no stories, no history regarding the places we visited Cinque Terre & Pisa. I found myself latching on to other tours to get an understanding and insight into the place I was visiting, The positive: Daniela was very responsible in terms of punctuality and meeting at the proper place. Dissapointly, that’s was the only positive. I must add, Daniela came very much alive at the very end of the tour telling us several times how much she loved us, how great we were obviously with the only intentions of getting tips. I take no pleasure in bashing people. However. I believe it would not be fair for other’s who have saved up and in return get a terrible tour.

I was extremely apprehensive about this trip at first because it was a 12-hour excursion on my final day of a two-week Euro vacation. I was already so exhausted. BUT the trip was definitely worth the 5 stars I gave it. Antonio was the best tour guide ever. He was polite, patient, helpful, and made this trip very comfortable. From the moment we stepped off the train in Manarola, my friend and I were having the time of our lives. All three stops we made were so amazing; we got so many photos and had great food during the second stop. I can’t wait to go back one day.

Enjoyed Cinque Terre but less time at Pisa. We had to meet the tour operator in 50 minutes and hardly could explore at Pisa. We had to do another trip next day.

Renata was a great tour guide.We had a great trip.Everything was on time.Very well organized.Love it.Thank you.

Our guide was very kind and despite we had to take trains in between, Dani was always sure nobody missed the train. She and her colleague were very attentive. On the downside, the tour is very tiresome, I would have loved to have more time on the first town than the 2nd. The food suggested by the guide was not very good, as well as disorganized, poor treatment, and the guide basically scare you into buying that touristic menú, when it good have been better to go and explore and find food on your own. The information provided on the places visited was very spars and what we did learnt was quite shallow. You a have very limited time at each of the stops. And even less time if you have the tourists menú.
