Jenny was a delight to listen to…food stops were great, varied and tasty! There was enough history to bind it all together nicely. When family in your group like the little history presented, you know it’s a winner☺️

was amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We had such a great time. I’ve already recommended this tour to a few people. You not only learn about the food but the history of the area too! 10/10

We explored a variety of eateries, tasting a wide range of delicious and local dishes while learning about the city's cultural history which made the experience even more enriching. I highly recommend this food tour.

The quality of tours hinges on the guides, and Jenny is a gem! She's hysterically funny, loves the neighborhood, knows its history and genuinely enjoys sharing her corner of the world with others. She really made the experience a terrific one. We had a blast, ate really, really well, hung out with cool people (it's a nice small group) and learned a lot about the Shoreditch area, the different waves of immigrants and their contributions to the area. We moved at a nice pace and because the group was small, I had no trouble hearing. We didn't cover a large area, but what we did cover is diverse. We were on busy streets, quiet streets, quite a bit of time on and around Brick Lane, and in a market area with plenty of space. We had a bit of free time while Jenny ordered Chinese breakfast pancake wraps (that were delicious) so we could explore the market, which my friend and I appreciated. Jenny is an approachable, open guide. She answered all of our questions and has a good way of engaging everyone without feeling like we're being quizzed or put on the spot. This is our second tour with Secret Food Tours (did another one in Paris) and I'm going to do another one when I get home to Boston! Bravo!

We had a wonderful food tour through Shoreditch with our guide, Joseph. He was an excellent host, combining history with modern day culinary and cultural context. It’s so much more than a food tour. The diverse choice of food stops each told a different part of the story- and everything we tasted was delicious. My daughter is a vegetarian and Joseph thoughtfully took that into consideration , making sure she had great tasting choices. Sadly, we didn’t take a single picture, because we were so engrossed in conversation and engaged with the sights and activity around us! I would highly recommend this tour!
