We’ll begin our tour at the historic and grand Union Station, where we take in the splendor of “downtown Denver’s living room”. Your guide will give a brief introduction to the beginnings of the Mile High City and it’s early associations with alcohol.

LoDo

We’ll then head out into the heart of lower downtown, also known as LoDo. Your guide will navigate you through the historic, brick-building-lined streets to a few of their favorite local bars. You may start out with a delicious libation at one of Denver’s oldest bars or find yourself in the dark recesses of a subterranean speakeasy spilling over with references to the city’s founding pioneers. Patrick was a fantastic tour guide, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! The tour was interesting and the cocktails were delicious! I love that we got to choose between 3 options at 2 of the stops and then multiple options to select from on the 3rd! The description mentioned that a small snack was included but we didn’t get one. Not a big deal, just don’t include it if it’s not a thing.

Patrick was an absolute touchdown and we all had a great time. He had us follow a cool timeline in relation to pre/during/post prohibition and incorporated the story with the drinks and locations as we went. Great tour!

This was a great experience. We went to three different bars and had the option of 3 cocktails. The only thing is there is NO food. I read it as being good food foodies and assumed there would be something and went hungry. Confusing wording! But our tour guide Patrick was awesome.

We were looking for something a little different in Denver and this was it!! Kristina has obviously done her research and gave us some great stories about people and places related to cocktails and Denver’s history. We learned so much about the city and its characters, and about the original versions of some cocktails we know today, and how they evolved. This was a unique experience with a really fun guide! We’d love to come back with other friends and do the tour again. Hopefully with Kristina!

Loved the tour- guide was very informative and the cocktails were delicious. We explored new restaurants and had great conversation with our guide and others touring. One note- the info said that a snack would be provided, but that was not the case. All that was included was three cocktails.

As luck would have it, it snowed heavy all day the day of our tour so the roads and sidewalks were a slushy, snowy mess but it didn’t stop us from having a great time! Our guide, Patrick, was fantastic and fun, a wealth of knowledge, interesting facts, and stories about Denver and the cocktails we were drinking. It was so interesting learning about prohibition here in Denver and then the origins of each cocktail we drank. Safe to say, our group would highly recommend this tour to others.
