We had a great tour with Paolo from the Louvre across Paris, ending at Place de la Concorde. Paolo gave us a very good overview of French and Parisian history, coupled with very practical information. The view of the city from the terrace of Lafayette was marvellous. Overall a very informative and entertaining 3 hour tour! Many thanks again

We did a WWII French resistance tour with Lucien. His grasp of the history and the specific details were incredible. His deep knowledge and preparation was quite evident. Also, his ability to relay it to us was great. There is no way we could have done this on our own. Definitely a value added tour and worth the money. I give him the highest praise.

We had a great time with Joao on our photo tour of Montmartre. Having lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years, he is wealth of knowledge, and it was lovely to leisurely stroll around and learn about the history of Montmartre and how it has changed over the years. We stopped and got snacks at a couple places, he pointed out the THREE "Meilleure Baguette de Tradition Française" on Rue des Abbesses as well as other "best of" spots, including ones that locals go to. He talked about Amelie changed parts of the neighborhood. On top of everything else, we got a folder of great, edited photos of our family to remember the outing and our trip. He was also incredibly engaging with our kids (see photo)

Our tour of the Marais with Paolo was wonderful. He's a treasure trove of information and stories - and explains everything in the most engaging way. Was a delight to wander the streets of the Marais with him and hear all about the history and culture. Plenty of humour too. Really memorable.

This was a very bad experience. We went to the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour. We were unable to find our English speaking tour guide. The Spanish speaking tour guide assured us they would be there soon. Eventually we met up with the group which was about 50 people! The information presented made it sound like the groups would be a small group. After we got through the first line the group was divided into 2 groups of about 25. Our tour guide had trouble getting us into the Louvre. The group ticket voucher she had did not work. Our group of 25 had to wait at the desk for over 15 minutes not knowing what was happening. When we finally got into the Louvre the tour we hit some highlights (Diana, Nike, Venus de Milo) the tour guide was nice but with the large group and having to wear a head set it may have been better to have a recording. We left before the end of the tour because it was confusing. I was very disappointed.

Who would have thought that a walk through a cemetery could be so interesting? Well, the tour of Pere-Lachaise cemetery with Ana was more than just interesting, it was fascinating and fun! Ana skillfully guided my wife and I through this beautiful but huge cemetery to the burial sites of so, so many famous (and not-so-famous, but important and interesting people), including Moliere, Delacroix, Chopin, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, and many more. Without her we would would have just been wandering aimlessly through the cemetery and would probably have found only a very few of these sites. But what really made the tour a big hit was the fascinating and sometimes funny, sad and/or "behind the scenes" stories that Ana told us about these and many other persons who over the years made the Pere-Lachaise cemetery their final resting place. Thanks for a wonderful tour, Ana!

We have done many walking tours in Europe and Paolo takes them all by storm. He is super friendly, charming, and had immense knowledge about the history of Paris and its architecture. He managed to keep our teens engaged quizzing them on what they knew and elaborating on the stories behind the school book history.

We feel so fortunate to have had the time we did with Gelsomina! She was knowledgeable, friendly, interesting, helpful, and she tailored the tour so well to our requests and interests. She had an answer to every question we had and even treated us to a sweet snack along the way, which was delicious. We loved our tour with her and would recommend it to anyone.

Our family had a memorable afternoon with Joao. First, he's a super nice guy who is easy to like. He was great with our kids. A gentle, calm, kind soul. He's a great photographer. These are the best family photos we've ever had. Everyone on Facebook after we posted was asking, "Where the heck did you find that photographer? Those pics are just fab." The best ones were little places we never would have thought to stop and have a picture taken. But he directed us there and BAM--genius. I never would have stopped and taken that picture, and we think of ourselves as good iphone photographers. Best money we've ever spent on family photos.
