Remarkable Rocks

This stunning work of nature has been shaped by the erosive forces of wind, sea spray and rain over some 500 million years. The golden orange lichen covering some of the rocks offers visitors wonderful photo opportunities at different times of the day

Cape du Couedic Lighthouse

The lighthouse which was constructed between 1906–1909, consists of a tower built from 2,000 pieces of local stone, together with three four-roomed cottages to house the head keeper and two assistants with their families. The light characteristic shows two flashes every ten seconds.

Admirals Arch

Admirals Arch is one of Kangaroo Island's most impressive and unusual natural landmarks. It took thousands of years of erosion to create this distinctive rock bridge near the Cape du Couedic Lighthouse on the island's southwest coast. The boardwalk leading to the Admirals Arch is nearly as scenic as the landmark itself.

We had a fantastic time touring Kangaroo island. Luca was accommodating given there was a delay at getting to kangaroo island due to unpredictable windy weather. We made it off the cruise ship and Luca was waiting for us. We loved seeing remarkable rocks, admirals arch, lighthouse and the wildlife and had a nice BBQ. Luca was very informative and we highly recommend this tour.

Luca showed the six of us (three couples) a fantastic time on Kangaroo Island December 9th, 2022. Our arrival from the cruise ship was delayed a few hours due to high winds, but we were pleased to see Luca waiting for us at the dock. We were asked to wait around another hour for a couple who ultimately didn't arrive, so off the six of us went to explore northern parts of the island instead of the south due to the wind abbreviated visit. We saw gorgeous coastlines, walked expansive empty beaches, saw a number of Koalas, and wide island vistas with plenty of local history and backstories provided. Luca prepared a delicious lunch with wine at a quiet little park. We returned to our ship right on time and very pleased with our day's experience. In signing up for this tour, there was amble explanation and warning provided about the refund policy and weather conditions, zero surprise. We highly recommend Luca and this tour!

JANELLEHINK_H

Our ship was very late arriving with shorter hours on shore. The tour was modified to fit our schedule and we had a delightful day.

We were not advised that as a tender port high winds mean that in December 50% of days the port is skipped No refund no warning is not acceptable practice.
