My all-inclusive 1 day mobile wine tours are perfectly paced so you can soak up the atmosphere, relax and most of all, enjoy the wine. The tour includes a Hobart pickup in our comfortable 12-seater Renault MasterBus around 9:30am. Each tour usually takes in 4 vineyards in two of the main regional valleys.

We really enjoyed this tour. Thanks Stel for being our guide and explaining everything and for the detailed notes. We visited four wineries in total and tried a variety of wines at each. I think we got to taste from 6-12 wines at each, sparkling, whites and reds in different varieties, each with an explanation. On our tour we got to visit two wineries in the Derwent Valley area and two in the Coal River area, and stopped in at Richmond for lunch.

This was by far the most enjoyable and educational wine tour we have ever had the pleasure of going on! We have been on quite a few worldwide. Stel is very passionate about his wine and this came across from the beginning of the trip. We visited 4 wineries and also had lunch included; no hidden extras. The only outlay was on us buying wine, which we did! The last two stops at Uplands & Craigow were both very personal with Michael & Barry. It was like sitting in a front room with a friend! And the wines at both wineries were excellent too. Stel offered a great personal experience for the moment of pick up to the final drop off! If 6 stars were available, that would have been the rating! Highly recommended.

Stel was great on our Coal Valley wine tour with my wife and I for the day. He meet us promptly at a coffee house nearby and we were able to let him know what we were interested in since we are in the wine business. He did an amazing job selecting interesting cellar doors for us and knew everyone. Great lunch at a winery and fun conversations with winemakers and cellar door managers. He took us around the local sights like Richmond and was alway full of knowledge of the area and the vineyards. I recommend him highly and will tour with him again when I am in Hobart.

We looked for a small group tour which took us to smaller rather than large wineries. This tour delivered. Stel is very knowledgeable about both the wine industry and the process and factors which impact wine making. We had a fantastic, fun day talking to and learning from Stel and the owners and/or winemakers. Totally recommend this tour.

Dorper sheep and lambs at the first vineyard. Interesting wine tasting followed by a great lunch. Stel was an encyclopedia of knowledge and kept us entertained. Second winery was not up to much, in a tin shed/cellar, very cold and wine not nice . Third one, right off the scale...flavor plus with the winemaker hosting us well. Stel brought out some crackers and cheese which complimented the offerings well. Maybe, some sort of nibbles should be offered at all the vineyards to renew the palate between samples. Great trip home with good 60's music to hum along to.
