Spectacular! William (the pilot/host/guide) was welcoming, knowledgable, and flexible. Absolutely worth the cost and probably the best way to see Kakadu. Didn’t get to the caves was the only downside, but for 7 hours round trip - a real fun adventure. Lunch at Coolinda Lodge was exceptional. Have the barramundi!

Terrible experience. We turned up to our booking, Kakadu air said they had no knowledge of. The whole thing was cancelled and 3 days later we still don’t have our money back. Kakadu air were not sympathetic at all, they just blame Viator and vice versa. Ruined our trip to Darwin.

We flew out to Kakadu from Darwin (airport) in a twin engine Cessna 204 piloted by Declan. He gave us a very informative and concise commentary of landmarks and the history of the vast vistas we passed over. We landed and went on the Yellow River boat cruise for 90 minutes that was teaming with wildlife and many croc's as would be expected. Lunch and the opportunity of a swim in the pool was provided for a midday break at Barra Bar (Jabaru) restaurant and a visit to the cultural centre before a direct flight back to Darwin. We could not speak more highly of Declan, great host and pilot for the day and represented Kakadu Air with professionalism.

Last Thursday we did the "Kakadu in a Day Tour" from Darwin. We had a wonderful day and are happy to recommend it highly. Our pilot and tour guide for the day was Myles. His commentary was really interesting and I might add he landed the plane beautifully at the Yellow Water billabong. There were 6 guests in total on the trip. I have read some reviews in which people complained the flight was bumpy, yes it occasionally was a little bumpy but not more than you would expect from a small plane. I suffer from motion sickness and had no problems. The views of the landscape from above are amazing and something you wouldn't get to appreciate on a land trip. The Yellow Water Billabong cruise exceeded my expectations, heaps of crocodiles and amazing wildlife everywhere. The lunch at the Barra Bar was very nice and we had a choice of food, given the remoteness of the location we thought the food was of a high standard. We initially decided to go on the flight, rather than take a land only trip to Kakadu, as my partner has been ill and has mobility issues and we thought any land trip might involve too much walking. In hindsight we both agreed that even if we had had the option to take a land only tour we thought the flight had provided a much better experience. We would recommend it highly and found Myles and all the staff very friendly and helpful

Booked flight for 2 people but unfortunately my husband was unwell on the day of the flight so had to cancel his booking. Kakadu Air was understanding but booking could not be changed or refunded. Be Aware of the rules! Pilot, Myles, did delay takeoff as I was late arriving at airport after searching for a chemist to purchase Covid test. Thank you Myles Flight to Kakadu was extremely informative and enjoyable. Myles pointed out interesting landmarks all the way and added humour to entertain us along the way. Viewing the Alligator rivers winding through the landscape from above was amazing and helped me to appreciate the significance of he Rainbow Serpent in indigenous stories. Looping over Twin Falls and JimJim Falls gave a perspective that is unbeatable. Seeing the massive rock formations, extensive mangroves and floodplains from the air helped me understand the impact of the two seasons experienced in NT. Unfortunately only spotted one crocodile on the cruise which was enjoyable but restricted due to flooding. The guide did explain the need to conserve Kakadu and how the local indigenous people are caring for the area. I could feel their pride in the continued preservation of the area. Lunch at the Barra Bar was delicious and ready when we arrived as Miles had booked a table and pre-ordered our lunches. No time wasted in queues! Would recommend the burger. At Warradjan Cultural Centre we were able to wander through the exhibits at our own pace. Again the pride in the history of the area was evident. The shop was full of authentic souvenirs and the knowledge of the manager was amazing. Thank you Myles a very enjoyable day. Cheers Michelle

Great experience for those short on time to visit Kakadu in a day or wanting an aerial view. Highly recommended with a very pleasant and scenic flight, not to mention the spectacular cruise. Plenty of crocs and birds, all set in an amazing backdrop. The lovely lunch and cultural centre capped a great day off. Not to mention an amazing tour guide/pilot. Just book it!

Wonderful.Steve the pilot was great. One person on our tour said it was the best day of her life. Encounter with black headed snake a little scary.

Wonderful experience with amazing views of the landscape and interesting commentary by our pilot Ben. Yellow water cruise was great and saw lots of crocs, buffalo, birds, brumbies and even a few pigs. Tasty lunch and a quick visit to the cultural centre and then back home again. Very well looked after from beginning to end.
