An excellent, very full, day trip to North Stradbroke island from our pick up at 9am to our return at 7.30pm. Our driver/ guide, Ross, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our journey. Beautiful beaches, amazing views, great lunch (not included but good value) and wildlife. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner booked the North Stradbroke Island tour for the mid January. We had a great day out and would recommend this tour. Our tour guide Ross was really friendly and full of knowledge of the local area. We enjoyed learning about the history of the land as we walked around the island. We really enjoyed all of the stops on our trip and it would be hard to pick a favourite. We first walked around the look out point which was stunning. Lucky for us we had good weather on the day which highlighted the islands beauty. I would say the walk around the look out point had quite a few steep/uneven steps and was on an incline. Ross did warn us about this and did offer alternative routes, but just a heads up that there are around 150~ steps. We stopped to have lunch where there was a bakery, fish and chip shop, a sea food shop and 2 ice cream shops, so enough choice for us but you could always bring your own food if you wanted to. Another good thing about Ross was that he was offering us chilled water throughout the day, suncream if we needed it, and pointed out toilets at every location. After lunch we headed to a beach for an hour. It was a great way to relax and we only wish we could've stayed longer. We then drove to look some koalas which we did manage to spot, alongside kangaroos. Unfortunately for us, we didn't see any marine life but this didn't take away from out great day. I would also say that if you do suffer from sea sickness, take tablets before hand as you will be taken on 2 ferries, although the water was pretty still for us. Our last stop was to brown lake which was pretty, and here Ross shared with us his knowledge of the local trees/bushes which was really interesting. Overall our day trip was really enjoyable and I would recommend it. Ross was a great tour guide and looked after us.

An excellent tour! Everything went exactly to plan and Ross was a friendly and knowledgeable host. He told us much about the history, geology, flora and fauna of North Stradbroke Island. Recommended for a good day out from Brisbane.

Great and informative tour, from the beginning to the very end - thanks to Ross who is one of the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides we’ve come across. The prawn shack with their signature prawn roll for lunch is also not to be missed.

This is a great value tour, a full day packed with lots of highlights, both of scenery and wildlife. Ross was a thoroughly pleasant, relaxed and well-informed tour leader, who took our group of eleven round all the major scenic high spots of the North Island and knew where to locate the wildlife, which included a koala, lace monitor, shark, dolphin, manta ray, kangaroos and several turtles, as well as a pleasing variety of birds common to the area. Our return trip ended with an evening crossing of Storey Bridge, showing up the city waterfront in all its nighttime splendour.

What an amazing day! Our driver was courteous, friendly and respectful of the group. We saw 1 wallaby, 1 manta ray, sea turtles in the water, numerous dolphins, 6 kangaroos, a pair of ospreys, and 3 koalas! Our guide also gave is lots of historical and current info!
