I ended up having a seizure on deck prior to snorkeling, which meant I was not able to snorkel for the remainder of the trip. The staff were unbelievably nice and helpful the entire time. They gave me a private room and continuously checked on me. They made what could have been a horrible experience much more pleasant!

Great customer service and attentive staff. Simple check in process and they were very helpful in all customer request. Diving staff was very patient with beginner divers and wanted to make sure everyone had a great time.

I highly recommend Down Under Cruise, staff were fantastic, helpful and knowledgeable, also adding humour to the day. A great lunch was provided with plenty for all. The snorkelling was awesome and to see the reef, fish and turtles in there environment was a great experience and a tick off my bucket list. Also did the helicopter ride for a bird’s eye view over the reef was cool too. Thank you Down Under Cruises for a great day out!

I am a local a recently did a snorkeling cruise with Down Under. The trip was enjoyable, the weather was awful but that’s what you get. The crew onboard impressed me so much. They were funny, smart, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable but I was very impressed with their interactions with the family of an older man who appeared to be disabled. I watched them deal it’s the extra help with so much appreciation of their ability to not make it appear that he could have been extra work. In short I highly recommend Down Under for a lively day made even better by the whole crew.

I couldn't recommended this dive/snorkel cruise more! Right from the get go, the crew was extremely friendly and welcoming. They explained all the necessary safety features in detail for all ages to understand. I was also very impressed with the level of safety throughout the trip and not just the briefing. We just did snorkeling, and the views did not disappoint! Saw animals I had never seen before and even 3 giant clams. The colors were amazing and believe it or not, we spent the full 5 hours in the water!! there was an option to do a guided tour with one of the marine biologists on board, and I don't think I would do it again. We only stopped about 3 times to chat and ask questions. In my opinion, it's not worth it for the price, however I enjoyed having the marine biologist on board for questions about aquatic life!

Fantastic Dive trip!! We've been blessed to have dived around the world, and this was honestly one of the best. The very stable boat was the best facilities we've seen -- everyone had a locker shelf area for their stuff, there are plush dry areas to hang out, and the wet deck areas. The meals were great, but more importantly the staff was fantastic. Ruth and Sammy did a great job with the dives, and Andi took amazing photos of everyone under water on the reef. Our friends can't believe they weren't photo shopped! Our family highly recommends this tour.

My 11 year old daughter and I did this as a snorkelling adventure to see the Great Barrier Reef. The whole set up was professional but also fun. Our confirmation email gave instructions about best parking places, what to bring and also where to check in. We were welcomed on board by multiple staff who each obviously have detailed duties to perform throughout the day. Mike was great helping us get our fins, mask and stinger suit (all included). We chose to do an optional guided snorkel with Sammy, one of the marine biologists on board. My daughter and I are capable swimmers but she suggested we hold on to a ring and she pulled us around. So many beautiful sights and great explanations! It was well worth the $45 extra per person. We went solo at the second site - both dive sites were lovely, despite the rough water. LOTS of crew helping get people in and out of water, supervising in water and on boat, and helping when people are sea sick. We felt safe and supported at all times. Boat is mega powerful and was captained well. Lunch also great. Toilets surprisingly consistently clean whenever we needed to use them throughout the day. Crew give simple and clear explanations/briefings. Boat left at around 8.10 and back around 4.15. A day to remember!! Thank you!!
