Great weather , easy course and not to strenuous. Also probably had the best fish and chips from the takeaway places in the vicinity. Saw the guide and her father the next day on a totally unrelated tour and they stopped for a quick chat too.

Great experience on the water paddling from Sandy Beach, pass Battery Point to Hobart Harbour. Amazing to be so close to all the harbour action. Thanks Rob and Roaring 40s. Leona

The trip is really good. We love the fish and chips so much. If you could share where I can buy it, I will try it again next time I go to Hobart :)

Fantastic paddle with Kat and Rob, lovely weather and a good sea breeze coming back worked off some of the fish and chips. Thankyou for guiding us, we will be back.

Too much time was wasted at waiting for a “lunch” (around 30 min) under hot sun! NO water was provided though ! Bad arrangement

Great local guide who was very knowledgeable. Was a good way to mix up our trip as we spent a lot of time doing the historical/convict past stuff. Fun experience all around, would definatelt recommend it.

I did the week long Gordon River trip out of Strahan and can’t recommend it enough. I’m a sea kayak instructor and have paddled in Sweden, Croatia, Ningaloo, Shark Bay and Dirk Hartog Island and this trip matches and exceeds them. It is remote, magical and getting to paddle in the bottom of the Franklin was a highlight. Meals were fantastic and Tory and the crew from Roaring 40’s were great. Just do it!

Amazing tour, friendly and informative tour guides (Tori and Cain - apologies if spelling is incorrect). And the included lunch of fish and chips was great too, especially eating it whilst still in our kayaks on the water. 100%, would do again!

What a great paddle along the Hobart Harbor. We stopped for a fish and chip lunch, delivered to our kayak. We appeared to be the wildlife for residents and tourists walking along the waterfront watching us paddle under bridges and close to harbor features. Thank you Mads and Cain for your professional attention to safety and the history of the area.
