We had the most magic day. Beyond expectations. Austin was or pilot for the day and Matthew, the co, we got 2 guys for the price of 1. So informative showing the rivers and sites over to Yellow river, all at 3000+ feet. Great tour on the river, lots of crocks, birds and beautiful plant life. Home in 40 minutes at 8000+ feet. Thanks guys for a fabulous day. The only way to fly 😊

Four of us arrived at 8.00am and were airborne by 8.30am in a 6 seater plane with two pilots Austin and Matthew, so it was a really a private trip. We flew at low level (3500 feet) over the Mary, Adelaide, and all the Alligator rivers, marvelling at their twists and turns before circling the Jabiru Uranium mine and landing at Cooinda airstrip, having had 2 hours in the air. Seeing the extent of the Kakadu escarpment from the air was wonderful too. On arrival we had very good coffee's at the Lodge (own expense) before going on the 90 minute Yellow Waters cruise, seeing lots of small crocodiles and lovely birds. We then had a quick lunch back at the Lodge at our own expense before the less than 1 hour flight home. The pilots were knowledgeable and sought higher altitudes when the flight got a bit bumpy and uncomfortable. Visibility was great each person has their own section of window. We were anxious to get back to Darwin asap and the pilots obliged. My only issue was that we back seat passengers could hear the commentary but couldn't ask questions through the headset.

Jack was a professional pilot and friendly guide. There were 3 groups of 2 of us. We all expressed our thanks to Jack for the experience at Katherine Gorge and Kakadu. Sam, our helicopter pilot at Katherine was well informed, friendly and professional. My husband and I really enjoyed our 1st top end trip. We do recommend JFC / kookaburra air.

Perfect day, two pilots (one training) and just us two passengers. Lots of information from our pilot, scenery breathtaking.

We had a very interesting flight from Darwin out to Kakadu on Kookaburra Air. Ryan, our pilot passed on some great information en route to Cooinda where we landed and boarded the Yellow Waters Cruise. A great way to see the bird and animal life in the area. The return flight to Darwin was very good. Seeing Kakadu by air and boat is much preferable to doing a coach tour of the area in our opinion. Jack our pilot provided an amazing experience with his professionalism and knowledge of the area, he explained everything in lots of detail and was happy to answer the many questions I asked. He went above and beyond throughout the day ensuring we got to see everything and made sure we were all comfortable and happy. The cruise was spectacular getting to see all the animals of Australia. A once in a lifetime experience and we want to thank the JFC team for an amazing trip.

From the time we booked, the folks at Kookaburra Air took amazingly good care of us, rescheduling to fit our ship's schedule, charging my scooter while we were on the tour so I could get back to the ship. The supportive care continued throughout, providing accessible vehicles & creative solutions. Jack was not only knowledgeable about the region & a reassuringly skillful pilot, he was singularly resourceful when it came to logistics. Dennis & Richard were wonderful with the Yellow Waters cruise, providing solid information from the people of the land & entertaining stories as well as graphic recounting of how crocodiles process their food. They left us learning, laughing & respecting the place we were visiting., feeling welcomed for coming. A particular highlight was watching & hearing a crocodile crunch up a sizable turtle, a very circle of life experience! All in all a magical day! Thank you all so very much!

The tour was first class - great way to see the park and the coast east of Darwin. It’s the dry season but a great time to see the crocs- the boat tour and guide were tops and we saw enough salt water crocs for a life time!

Steve our pilot was so good and had so much knowledge to pass on to us. We had 4 people on our flight and it was perfect. Loved seeing Kakadu by air. The river cruise was a must too. Saw lots of crocs and other wildlife. Perfect
