Returned to Oz after many years. LaNing in Sydney for a few days we were pleasantly surprised to see Tours R Us still running. They offer a nice private trip and their guides sure know there stuFe around the mountain. The flexibility of doing the day OUR way was super and the guide Darren gave us good advice. An amazing day with an even better guide.

It’s the day after and we’re still recovering from our very busy Blue Mountain Tour. John, our tour director for the day was excellent. He was very informative and made every effort to show and educate us about Australia and all that it has. We arrived back at our river cruise departure location just early enough that he was able to squeeze in a brief tour of the Sydney 2000 Olympic site. Just another example of going above and beyond expectations. This was an enjoyable excursion, well worth the reasonable price!

Our guide, Ken was a very friendly but very professional guide and it was such a good day trip with our kids of 8 and 11 years old. Great mix of activities so that kids don’t get bored (very important!) and happy children - happy parents! It was nice to finish with cruise so that we could see the view of Sydney and its autours from water side. Thank you to Ken and thank you for your rapide service when we had a small problem of payment. Highly recommended for a family with kids.

The day was very foggy but David our guide wanted to make sure we got a view of the Three Sisters so drove us round to a couple different lookouts until we managed to catch a brief glimpse of the sisters before we returned to the city.

I really enjoyed the tour as it was all planned properly and the tour guide was very informative and likeable! I can only recommend it, especially if you want to see the highlights of the Blue Mountains in one day and by doing so, even learn some interesting facts about it. My choice was the Gold Package with lunch and Scenic World included.

To get the maximum out of this tour you need a bit of luck, both with the weather and with the rest of your group. Sadly, the fog was too thick for us to see more than 10 meters ahead of us for the majority of the morning, so we ran past several lookouts because there wouldn't have been a lot to look at, so we didn't get to see the three sisters. When we reached scenic world, which I had pre-paid for with the gold upgrade, nobody else wanted to go in, and not wanting the entire bus to wait just for me I felt pressured to accept the offer of refunding the money for the scenic world ticket to not hold everyone back. Because we had skipped a couple of stops in the morning we were ahead of schedule when we reached Featherdale wildlife park. Dave, the driver, let the group vote on weather to stay there for an additional hour or take an earlier ferry. That's the "cruise" part of the tour, just one of the ordinary ferries, but the ride down Parramatta river is beautiful regardless. Unfortunately I was the only one who voted for the former, so due to majority vote the tour was cut short by one hour. They say you should marry someone who likes to leave parties at the same time you do, this is true for tours as well - if everyone in the group agree on which/ how long to do the activities for you will have a better experience rather than feeling like you are missing out on stuff you've already paid for anyway. Not a lot the tour company can do about the weather conditions or group constellations, but these are factors that naturally will impact your trip. On the plus side, Dave offered interesting and humorous commentary along the way and with the right group on the right day I'm sure it would've been an amazing experience as there are lots of fascinating stops along the way. I would recommend not booking the gold upgrade and rather buying a ticket to scenic world once you're there should you want to do it.
