Massively overpriced for what turned out to be a minibus taxi ride to two vineyards, a vodka distillery and a chocolate shop. The minibus (there were two of us, so why not a car?) was clearly not fit for purpose, which the driver didn’t admit until I asked why we appeared to be going 20km an hour of the motorway. The 2hr 15 min journey took 3 hours on the way there and 3.5 on the way back. Even lunch was disappointing- instead of allowing us to eat at the beautiful Rocha estate we were shipped off to where the coach tours eat for a mediocre meal by a car park among the dog excrement at the Brew House. The driver was not unfriendly but silent pretty much the whole time and knew nothing about Hunter Valley.
