Booked this lounge in the hope of relaxing after a first leg from NZ on route to the UK via Singapore. It is remarkably small and, as others have said, the seats are not particularly comfortable or plentiful. The biggest issue was broken air conditioning which rendered the atmosphere absolutely stifling and I couldn’t last more than an hour. Very unpleasant. The food was OK and nobody seemed to be deprived of drinks. Great views of airside and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Used the shower after having to prove my booking entitled me to use it. It involved a voucher and a lift down to another lounge which seemed to be closed and staff were a bit startled when I arrived. I had to justify why I was there. To be honest, I was glad to get out into the cooler departure lounges. It’s not that expensive but I don’t think I’d go back without hearing of an improvement.

Terrible lounge. Terribly uncomfortable chairs. NO PLACE TO RELAX BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT. Food is awful. The Pasta was not cooked. I asked I where I could have a shower and the older lady looked lost and said she would let me know. It never happened.

While waiting for our departure flight to Singapore, we decided to access the lounge to have our dinner. Cardmember of OCBC Premier Visa Infinite Credit card is entitled to 2 complimentary visits to selected Plaza Premium Lounges. Sydney Plaza Premium airport lounge at Terminal 1 is one of the selected lounges. I thus decided to redeem the benefits while waiting for the flight home. In terms of size, this lounge is relatively small as compared to that at KLCC or Changi airport. The window seats command a good view of the airport but the seat rests are not as comfortable as the one at Blossom lounge at Changi airport Terminal 4. The light buffet has limited options and is rather cold though it is more than enough for my dinner. My wife was disappointed that there was not much options. She scooped a plate of the pink sauce pasta peppered with some chicken cacciatore. She liked the yogurt parfeit. I preferred the healthier salad and chickpeas with black olive and have a cup of hot peppermint tea. I made myself a cup of coffee but the taste was very bitter. I changed to a cup of honey to dilute the bitterness. There are cornflakes provided but I could not find any fresh or skimmed milk to mix with it. There are alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, orange and apple juices provided but we did not consume them. There are no fresh or dried fruits though I had some dried dates for my salad. I earlier thought of resting at the lounge for 4 hours before proceeding to the boarding gate but we left earlier seeing that there were no new dishes for dinner. Overall, I think the lounge food is average but I find the staff courteous and polite.

all the reviews are spot on. can miss this one. pathetic food/drinks/space lack of any sense of service. Went prior to flight with Malaysia airlines. the food options are really the worst bit. if you are going to be spending some time here, bring your own food

Since MAS cannot use Qantas lounge, Plaza lounge is the one they provided. This is the first time we use this lounge and found it not bad and better than my expedition.

More 1980s mall food court than premium lounge, the atmosphere is a fat zero, only the coffee machine and scraping chairs to listen to, small amount of loos, food average and cold, tiny plates, coffee was weak, chairs dirty. For the same money you can go to House, the only reason I didn't was that Plaza was closer to my gate. I wish I had read the reviews first, but you don't expect to have to read reviews when they call themselves 'premium'. Don't be fooled. Even the free sitting areas in the rest of the airport would have been preferable to this sad place.

Despite only booking the day before travel, when we arrived at the lounge we were advised that not only was it was closed, but that it had been closed for over a month. This was less than helpful, and added more stress to an already stressful very long journey. Had we known we would have made alternative arrangements. Surely it would not have been too much to expect your website to have been up to date, particularly when money is being paid for a service that could not be provided.

Paid for a six hour stay in the lounge. Lounge only mopened at 6pm so only able to spend 30 minutes in lounge. At no time was I advised that the lounge would be closed between 1.30pm and 6 pm.

Dirty dishes everywhere, asked to reuse our wine glasses! Toilets were dirty , water and tissue everywhere . No staff, no one to complain to, just one poor girl trying to run everything! Floor didn’t look like it had been mopped for days, The food was ok, but surroundings spoilt the experience.

This brand is a bit hit and miss and this one in Sydney is at the lower end. The only reason I didnt rate this 2 stars were a couple of the workers were friendly enough. The wear and tear and food are 2 stars.
