We had the best time on touring round the yarra valley, Shane was an excellent tour guide with great information on the wines and the area and all the wineries were absolutely stunning we especially enjoyed the payten and jones winery as it was something so different, one of our best days in Australia

Fantastic tour!! We have already recommended this tour to people. It’s a LOT of wineries and wine tours (30+ wines) so come prepared and pace yourself! The communication leading up to the tour which was also very helpful. Our guide, Cam, was incredible - funny, knowledgeable and stuck to the schedule. If you are vegetarian then I would recommend you bring snacks. Lunch was delicious but there lacked a protein or anything hearty in it especially after tasting wine for a few hours.

Shane from Vinetrekker Wine Tours made sure everyone had a great day. He was knowledgeable about the unique wines at each winery. He even knew where a participant from overseas was likely to see some kangaroos! The day was well organised and we got to taste a variety of wines. Some wineries combined the tasting experience with cheeses. A participant that was vegan was also catered for. Lunch at Yering Station was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour. To start with: I rarely write reviews. Here: I have to - for a very good reason. The wine tour was great and is highly recommended. Paul is a wonderful host and the wineries he chose for our tour were also excellent. At each tasting we were given interesting facts and background to each one of the superb wines. At some stops we also were served snacks or exquisite cheese specialities. Lunch at one of the wineries was great. We also got to know super nice fellow travellers. The journey through the Yarra Valley was varied and the views were sometimes spectacular. All in all, the trip, which lasted about 10 hours, was entertaining, peppered with excellent wines, impressive wineries and a lot of fun.

The 5 vineyards visited were well chosen , well paced , with very generous tastings of 5 wines at each stop , plus delightful and curated cheese plates . The lunch at Yering Station was a delight .
