My sister and I had a truly amazing time on the Ngana Julaymba Dungay tour with our tour guide Harry. We learnt so much about the Kuku Yalanji People and their rich language, culture and land. We had so much fun learning to spear mud crab and eating delicious damper. We loved learning about all the bush food and medicine and enjoying trying some of them. The tour ended with a swim the Mossman Gorge which was incredible. I highly recommend this tour and connecting with and learning about the Kuku Yalanji People and their land.

Delightful couple of guys in Juan and Harry, who were passionate and knowledgeable about their country and customs. Bush tucker and bush medicine from nearly every tree and plant. After 60,000 odd years the Aboriginals have learnt a thing or two and the knowledge is passed on with no written language. Remarkable. A great experience. Highly recommended.

Great family tour. Our kids are only 3 and 5yr old so we decided on the half day Cape Trib private tour. Our host Aaron was fantastic with the kids. Our little ones were shy to start with (which they always are) and by the end they were copying Aaron and walking in his shadow. Matter of fact for the rest of our stay in the Daintree as we were walking around they both had walking sticks and were playing ‘tourist guide’ mimicking him! We are from central Queensland and choose Walkabout as we wanted and authentic indigenous tour. So happy with the day and will definitely recommend it

What a fabulous experience! We did the full day tour to Cape Tribulation with Aaron, and loved every bit of it. His knowledge of bush tucker, plants, animals and indigenous culture was amazing and just added to our experience. It didn't just stop there, we also dropped in at the tea plantation, a local beach side Cafe and the tropical fruit ice-creamary - fantastic. We look at the rainforest in a much different way now thanks to this wonderful tour, and happy to pass on our newly acquired knowledge to others. This tour is something everyone should do at least once.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Aaron was a great guide, he had so much information to share about the land, the local people, and bush medicine - including green ant decongestant made by shoving his hand into the nest and crushing the ants before they bite to release their vapour (we also ate a few). We went to Cape Tribulation, and stopped at a number of beautiful beaches, waterholes and rainforest trails along the way. We had a delicious lunch, and ate fruits we'd never tasted before. It was a relaxed, fun day out, run by the only indigenous owned and operated tour company in the Daintree.

What an amazing day, we learnt some much litreally from the moment Harry picked us up. The day was really enjoyable and the mud crab was delicious. What a great way to learn about the place your visiting and the people who live there.
