I dont normally write reviews but as it was such an awful experience with them felt compelled to. Please do not waste your money on booking with Anderson tours. We missed four ferries, meaning we had less time in Bruges however we did get to waste 45 minutes sat on a stationary coach in a Bruges car park waiting for others to return and we didn't get back to hotel till 2:30 am. They refuse to refund anything, apologise or even pay for the uber back to hotel which we had to get as tube line had finished for night. When we arrived back in London the tour guide just left without a word of apology for a disaster of a trip. Having since contacted Anderson Tours about it theyve been really unhelpful and poor with their response. It is unbelieveable they're happy with the service they provided and happy to make a profit. It was a really bad experience and a waste of our money which given the way life is at the moment is even more precious when you decide to treat yourself. Please either get the train to Bruges or go with another coach company.

Very disappointed. The market was just selling hot dogs and sickly smelling waffles. Thank goodness for beautiful Bruges with its Christmas charm, fully of Christmas trees and lights and our fabulous hotel Dukes Arches !!! Not forgetting the super restaurants which I very cunningly researched and booked before leaving London. Bruges has that Christmas magic without the markets. So get rid of them unless they can improve

16 hours on a Coach, 2 hours 20 mins in the Xmas Market. 2 horrendous passengers who ruined it for everyone. My 1st experience of Bruges tainted by a horrible Coach trip. Arrived LATE, 2 passengers late back delaying our departure missed 2 ferries back. Didn't get back to London until nearly 2am. £65 black cab home 🫣

Horrible, our tour was pre- booked and paid almost a year in advance, and all confirmations were meet 6:45 am. We arrived at meet spot at 6:15 am, and the Coach had left. We did not get to go. Tour company said to talk to Viator, and have not been able to reach Viator. Would appreciate a refund or credit!

FIRST PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WAS AN INDEPENDANTTRIP TO BRUGES FROM A CRUISE HOLIDAY BUT THIS IS THE NEAREST I CAN FIND TO REVIEW THE CHRSITMAS MARKET. I have visited Bruges before and it a beautiful destination and very worth while of a visit, so I was so looking forward to taking my 12 year old son there for a Christmas market. However we were soooo disappointed. The main square was laid out with ferry containers mainly full of hot dogs and socks!! Nothing particularly festive and it was very disappointing indeed. However the chocolate shops were worth a visit and had some lovely priced Christmas souvenirs. There was a lovely shop (DAYA CHOCOLATES, Katelijnestraat 27, 8000 Bruges) that sold home made hot chocolate for just 2 euros and it was delicious. This shop had the best priced souvenirs too and great service when we were lost getting back to our cruise shuttle drop off. But beware of the chocolate shop with a display of pick n mix chocs with scales to weigh your chocs and buy 100g for 3.75 euros. The scales are off kilter and when you get to the till with your 100g, its actually 150g at over 5 euros. When I queried this the lady sarcastically told me "the scales are just for show", yet the sign encourages you to pick, mix and weigh!! Not impressed, left and went back to Daya Chocs for more great priced gifts.

It was an experience to remember riding on a bus through the Eurotunnel. Bruges chocolate stores were amazing — and delicious. The Christmas Market was a bit too crowded and had a few hits with nice handmade arts and crafts. Bus drivers (there were 2) were a bit unfamiliar with the process of crossing out of the UK into France. Return trip went a bit better. Suggest Andy, the Tour Guide, make a bit more effort to lead groups to meeting points. Difficult to follow in such large crowds.

It's a long day, but well worth it. Christmas in Bruges is beautiful and we had plenty of time to enjoy it. We had enough time to have a relaxed lunch, enjoy the Christmas market and wander through the city stopping at a number of shops and having a waffle.

Really enjoyed this day trip to Brugge. The lady who was running our trip was was nice and helpful. We was lucky to not get stuck in traffic either way so the day ran smoothly. We got plenty of time in bruge, think it was between 4-5 hours. There was a main Christmas market in the square and then another slightly smaller one just a few minutes walk away. It's worth a visit and I would book again.

Market was disappointing not many stalls selling items. Nasty couple swapped seats on coach and caused a big problem that was no fault of the company as they did not follow the rules. The day was good tour guide very nice and coach lovely
