Having spent a week touring museums in Netherlands and Belgian, this was my family’s favourite museum. The museum looks much like the ‘tardis’: tiny on the outside and surprisingly huge inside. There are so many interactive activities that the whole family enjoyed. Really informative in a fun and exciting way. The chocolate demonstration at the end was great and the free chocolate was delicious! A must-visit for all families going to Bruges.

Wasn’t sure how the children - aged 14 and 11 would find the historic bits in it but they listened to every audio and really enjoyed the interactive activities. We all loved the demonstration and the chocolate.

Interesting visit with plenty of information and interactive activities. Demonstration and tasting 😋 good.

This would receive a better rating if the price was 1/2 what it is. I’ve been to the tour in York, England and thought this might be like it. I also thought we would get to really see chocolate making in action. It wasn’t like the York one and I missed the demonstration and the gal wasn’t doing another for 30 minutes. Not worth the time or money. If you’re ever in York, I highly recommend the chocolate tour there.

We enjoyed learning about the history of chocolate. Our arms did get quite tired from holding the hearing devices to our ears, headphones would have been better.

A lovely interactive museum with lots of facts and the audio guide was great. My children enjoyed scanning the numbers to find out more information, The chocolate sculptures were great. Was really interesting in the back story of chocolate better than Cadbury's world.

The insight into the history of the production of chocolate. Was very interesting and informative and love chocolate.

Rubbish. It was a couple of rooms and a video animation that didn’t address any of the issues of ethical chocolate harvesting. There was some free chocolate and some interesting sculptures including Michelangelo’s sculpture. There was a photo that you got emailed to you with a choccie background. Quite interactive. I wouldn’t bother.

This is a well laid out informative tour covering the history of chocolate across the world. It finishes with much welcomed tasting of different kinds of chocolate (amber was my favourite) and demonstrations from a chocolatier. A very good experience very well priced

Great place, although very hot inside and at times slightly overcrowded but the chocolate made up for it! 🍫
