Wim was extremely knowledgable about the history of Gent and the history if the buildings. His tour was very fun and informative.

The tour was great. Wim was fully available to answer our questions and made the tour interactive by arousing our curiosity. The visit was very balanced: we learned a lot about the history of the city of Ghent as well as nowadays cultural reality. We warmly recommend Wim to discover the beautiful city of Ghent !

First available slot, great weather in the morning, easy-to-spot meeting place and good starting point for the story. The presentation was detailed, great attitude-didn't feel the 2 hours passing by. PS Came back to the shop for the yummy chocolates :)

It was a pleasure to look at all the magnificent buildings and to understand their purpose & history

We had an excellent and well prepared walk and talk through old Ghent with Wim, an historian and teacher. If you really want to spend two hours eating chocolate this isn't for you, but if you want to get s grip of how and why Ghent is as it is, then book up!

Wim is a teacher in his day job and is very knowledgeable about the history of Ghent. He points out architectural features of buildings that we would not have seen by ourselves, as well as the local history of Ghent. Wim brought to life our visit to Ghent. Highly recommended!
