Fascinating but little known history about Nis, Serbia. Skull Tower was a sobering visit as was the Red Cross Concentration Camp. This town and its people have faced so many challenges yet have emerged vibrant. Drawback is the border crossing from Bulgaria into Serbia and vice-versa - can take quite some time.
