Maria is the best guide! We really enjoyed our time with her and learned so much about Bulgaria. Maria is very knowledgeable and has a very caring attitude toward her guests. She is thoughtful, engaging, and demonstrates a sense of humor. She is very well-travelled, so we enjoyed hearing about her lifelong travel endeavors too. Plodiv and Koprovshtitsa are really picturesque and interesting to explore. This is a very well-organized tour, it started at 9am and we made it back in time to Sofia for a nice dinner as well. Thank you Maria for a wonderful time.

City tour was amazing. We had a perfect day with our guide that picked us up at the hotel exactly on time and entertained us throughout the trips to Plovdiv and Koprivhstitsa. Our guide/driver was excellent and explained everything in detail that we were seeing, as well as any questions that we had. He was very flexible, catering the tour to our pace and what we wanted to see. I really feel that I have learned a lot about Bulgarian culture and explored the main sites. Would definitely recommend this tour!!

This was and incredible and awesome tour because both places were beautiful and Maria was so knowledgeable about the places and Bulgaria in general. She answered patiently all of our questions with factual responses.

The guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. However, there’s not enough time to visit both cities and the boss needs to quit calling the guide as often and micromanaging each step of the way.

This was an excellent and detailed tour...around 10 hours in length, but well worth spending the time. Our guide, Todor, was very knowledgeable and took us all around the lovely city of Plovdiv....which effortlessly mixes ancient ruins within a bustling, modern city. After this, we visited Koprivshtitsa and was fascinated by its peaceful nature and strong sense of the past. There are several houses to visit here which have been homes to some of the key people involved in the uprising against the Ottoman Empire. This trip is a must for anyone interested in Bulgarian history....
