Visit the Bulgarian town of Belogradchik on this guided, full-day, minibus tour from Sofia. Just 180 kilometers north of Sofia, nature has sculpted the amazing Belogradchik rocks, a group of strange shaped sandstone and conglomerate rock formations. The view from the old fortress of the fascinating formations is breathtaking. Use some imagination and visions of 'the Rabbit,' 'Adam and Eve,' 'the Ice-Age Squirrel,' 'the Rebel' and many more can be seen. On the way back to Sofia, visit a beautiful cave called Venetsa (aka the Wreath). This small-group tour includes a Sofia hotel pickup and drop-off.

Don't miss out on news and great deals
Unfortunately I had to cancel this tour because I was ill (and we all know that during this pandemic situation we can't take any risk, not for ourselves and not for the others). We agreed on doing the tour on another day, but unfortunately after my cancellation all the communication stopped and I didn't receive responses to my messages. So at the end, I didn't do any tour and I didn't get a refund either. I was only told that the touroperator didn't feel any responsibility. So if you are looking for a friendly touroperator with good communication skills than I can't recommend this one. But the tour might be awesome, I have no idea.
The trip is incredible and guide is wonderful with lots of things to see! The castle is right on the rocks!
It's a long time in the car. But, the scenery is beautiful, the castle interesting and the lunch as excellent. Our tour guide was excellent.
I have done 2 tours with them: belogradchik and Rila monastery. The drivers were right on time, driving very well, giving a lot of explanations We stopped in local restaurant, cheap and good Car and mini bus were clean and great In one word I highly recommend them
I was fortunate to be the only one on this tour, and it was incredible. Belogradchik is a great place to visit. It is a place that I wouldn't be able to visit by myself and, thus, getting this tour was the right choice. During the trip, unfortunately, Venetsa was closed, so I visited Magura Cave which is amazing instead. Georgi was an excellent guide. Apart from being very knowledgable about his country and the whole Balkan region geographically and historically, he made sure that all my questions answered. He helped me get sheep-milk yoghurt, and on the way back to Sofia, he drove along the scenic route so I can see more of Bulgaria.
