Had a lovely time walking round the rocks and fortress. The cave was incredible-- the little sleeping bats were very cute

We were a nice small group of 7. Stefan was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, well-spoken, explained things intelligibly and didn't talk for the sake of talking, which gave us time to digest the information and the sites. Belogradchik is spectacular. We went on a busy day. I would recommend going during the week and not on a national holiday. Regardless, it's worth seeing not only for the historical significance, but also for the 360 views and rare rock formations. The Venetsa cave boasts magnificent calcite formations illuminated by colored lights. On the return, we stopped at a roadside stand with berries handpicked by a village family, with whom we had a lovely conversation. In all, a worthy experience!

They picked me up in front of the hotel where I was staying in Sofia and we made the trip in a very small group, so the guide made it like a VIP tour. Even the way to the attractions was very beautiful and the Belogradchik Fortress is a fantastic place to visit, with its surreal rock formations. Also the Venetsa Cave that we visited is extremely beautiful and looks like something out of a dream. The guide was very kind, funny and very knowledgeable. We also stopped for lunch at a typical bulgarian restaurant with excellent traditional "real food" (as the guide told me), in a very cozy and heartwarming place, as an experience that was good even to fill the soul. In the end I was dropped back at the same hotel. It was perfect and I highly recommend the experience.

Unfortunately I had to cancel this tour because I was ill (and we all know that during this pandemic situation we can't take any risk, not for ourselves and not for the others). We agreed on doing the tour on another day, but unfortunately after my cancellation all the communication stopped and I didn't receive responses to my messages. So at the end, I didn't do any tour and I didn't get a refund either. I was only told that the touroperator didn't feel any responsibility. So if you are looking for a friendly touroperator with good communication skills than I can't recommend this one. But the tour might be awesome, I have no idea.
