Pavlina gave a great tour and provided so much historical context for the sites we were seeing. I have had the good fortune to take tours in a number of other international cities and this one rates among the very best. She made it personal and relatable - helping you to understand the thinking of the people at the time of all of these historic changes within Bulgaria. I highly recommend Easy Bulgaria Travel!

Polina my guide was amazing - went WAY above and beyond to give me a truly exceptional tour. Her knowledge of history, religion, geography & architecture was encyclopaedic and we had some GREAT conversations. I would probably have been able to do 5% of this on my own, in twice the amount of time. Thank you so much :-)

Everything was awesome. We saw all main sights of Sofia in 2.5 hours. Pavlina understand and dived in history of her country very deeply. But please add a toilet stop in your route🙂

Our guide, Paulina, was absolutely brilliant. She met us at a church near our hotel and launched into the tour straight away. We were given insights, not only into the archeological history of Sofia/Serdika, but right up to the present day. (The minister of the Russian Orthodox Church in Sofia was deported for spying while we were there!) She brought the city to life for us, explaining social situations as much as anything else. Paulina even gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation for lunch, too (Moma on Solunska Street). Top marks. Would have loved to spend the whole day with her.

My wife and I had a great tour of Sofia. Our guide Palvina made our visit very pleasant. She arrived early (10 minutes before the scheduled time) to meet us up at the hotel. She took us on a walking tour of all the important sites. She was very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant. It was a very informative tour that we highly recommend.

She was knowledgeable and fun to travel with. She did a great job of making Sofia come alive. The first day I was there I walked through many places alone not knowing what I was looking at. When we traveled she gave me a new perspective on what I have seen and she showed me many other places I had not heard of before. Make sure to visit on the first Wednesday of the month!
