I ended up purchasing a beautifully embroidered tablecloth, a piece that I knew would bring a touch of San Miguel's charm back to my home in Silkeborg. Astrid will love it, I am sure. It was a moment of pure bliss, a reminder of why I embarked on this solo journey in the first place.

Sipping on a margarita, I watched as the city came alive with music and laughter. The bar was packed with locals and tourists alike, all drawn to the infectious energy of San Miguel's nightlife. It was a fitting end to a day filled with cultural exploration and sensory delights. I even found myself chatting with a couple from Guadalajara, exchanging stories and travel tips. It's moments like these that make traveling so enriching, connecting with people from different backgrounds and sharing a common love for discovery.

The Spanish phrasebook I forgot is becoming more of an issue. I really need to find one tomorrow. It would greatly help me to navigate the local markets.

Tomorrow I plan to visit the Museo de Sitio Casa de Hidalgo and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. I also plan to browse the Bazar Ximhoi Unique Gift Shop and enjoy a drink at El Grito. It promises to be another day filled with discovery and cultural immersion.
