My day began with a hearty breakfast at Muzza Cafe in Penela. I opted for a strong café and a traditional *pastel de nata*, savoring the creamy custard and flaky pastry. Although the official opening of the wave pool wasn't until the end of May , the area was still vibrant with activity. I strolled along the lake, enjoying the views of the Serra da Lousã reflected in the water. Families were picnicking, children were playing, and the atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed. I found a quiet spot by the water's edge and spent some time recording the ambient sounds – the gentle lapping of the water, the distant laughter of children, and the rustling of leaves in the breeze. It was the perfect way to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
