Our morning began with a hearty breakfast at The Hungry Nomad Rooftop Essaouira. The rooftop setting offered a stunning panorama of the city waking up. The menu was a delightful mix of traditional Moroccan flavors and familiar breakfast staples. I opted for a traditional Moroccan breakfast, while Hans went for a more familiar continental option. It was like a maze of beautiful things, and I could have easily spent hours exploring every nook and cranny.

As the day drew to a close, we headed to Umia Restaurant for dinner. This elegant restaurant was located right on the skala, offering stunning views of the ocean. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were exquisite. It was the perfect way to end our day in Essaouira.

Tomorrow, we're planning to explore the natural beauty surrounding Essaouira with Lou's Rides and some ecotourism and hiking. I’m particularly excited about the prospect of seeing more of the countryside and experiencing the local flora and fauna. Hans is keen on trying out Lou's Rides, and I must admit, the idea of a leisurely ride through the landscape is quite appealing.

The day felt like a beautiful blend of history, culture, and culinary delights. I feel incredibly fortunate to share these experiences with my family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
