I was already looking forward to tomorrow, when we would venture to Sidi Kaouki Beach for a day of sun, sand, and surfing. I was excited to explore more of what this enchanting coastal town had to offer, and I knew that our journey was just beginning.

While I love the urban energy of my home, there's something incredibly soothing about the ocean breeze and the slower pace of life here. As an urban beekeeper, I'm always drawn to places where nature and culture intertwine, and Essaouira definitely fits the bill. I'm already feeling inspired to bring some of the colors and flavors of Morocco back to my rooftop garden in Neukölln. Perhaps I'll even try making my own tagine with honey from my bees!
