As our Florentine adventure draws to a close, I find myself filled with a bittersweet mix of emotions. Today was all about soaking in those final moments, revisiting some iconic spots, and discovering a few hidden gems that I'll carry with me long after I've left this enchanting city. It’s amazing how a place can capture your heart in just nine days.



The day began, as many have, with breakfast at the Winter Garden Restaurant. Knowing it was our last morning in Florence, I savored every bite of the delicious offerings, from the fresh pastries to the perfectly brewed cappuccino. After breakfast, we made our way to the Piazza del Duomo. Even though we've visited it several times during our stay, the sheer grandeur of the Duomo never fails to impress. The intricate details of the facade, the imposing dome, and the bustling atmosphere of the piazza create an unforgettable experience. I took some time to simply sit and sketch in my travel journal, trying to capture the essence of this magnificent landmark. I wanted to remember every detail, from the colors of the marble to the sounds of the city swirling around me.

It was a truly memorable meal, a fitting end to our Florentine culinary journey. The service was impeccable, the food divine, and the company, of course, was the best.
