Leaving behind the familiar routine of the geriatric ward, where I find fulfillment in caring for others, I embraced the call of adventure, eager to discover the hidden gems of this natural paradise.

My day began with a simple breakfast at my campsite, a quiet moment of reflection before embarking on the day’s adventures. I find that these moments of solitude are incredibly precious, a chance to recharge and connect with myself amidst the grandeur of nature. After packing up my gear, I set off towards Morro do Pai Inácio, a location I had been eagerly anticipating ever since I started planning this trip.

The drive to Morro do Pai Inácio was an experience in itself, with the rugged terrain offering stunning panoramic views at every turn. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such incredible beauty and to reconnect with myself in such a profound way.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, I'm excited to explore Cachoeira da Fumaça and Vale do Pati. I've heard so much about the stunning views from Cachoeira da Fumaça and the challenging but rewarding trek through Vale do Pati. I plan to start early, as the hike to Cachoeira da Fumaça is known to be quite demanding, and I want to make sure I have plenty of time to soak in the scenery and enjoy the experience. I'm also looking forward to stopping by Quinca's Botequim for a refreshing drink after a long day of hiking. It's supposed to be a great spot to relax and unwind, and I'm always eager to experience the local culture and meet new people.

Before ending the day, I realized I had forgotten to pack a rain jacket. I guess I will buy one tomorrow at a local shop in the area. It’s little things like that I miss when I’m not properly prepared.
