You'll be picked up from a Paphos location of your choice and driven into the Paphos region of the Troodos mountain range to reach the destination of our host. This will be a beautiful scenic drive through villages and vineyards. We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops we’ll be visiting after the cheese-making workshop... However, here’s an example list of products - honey / traditional sweets / wine / donkey milk products / carob honey.

Agios Neophytos Monastery

While driving through the Paphos countryside we'll also include a bonus stop at a scenic, historical monastery.

Admission Included

Excellent day spent with our guide, Myra, which was not only informative, but great fun. The highlight was halloumi making and the visit to the farm, such a memorable experience. The olive oil tasting was excellent, then up to the monastery and onto the wine tasting, which was really enjoyable. Such a fun day. Thank you

An amazing experience and great tour! We really liked that they take you to real local producers to taste their products, which were delicious. The halloumi making was also a lot of fun. Maria, our guide, was amazing :) Definite must if you are visiting Cyprus.

We had a fantastic day with Elena making halloumi and touring the mountains. Really relaxed, lots of amazing food and drinks and a wonderful host to give us a real insight into life in Cyprus. Really small groups (we were 6 in total) and focus on having a lovely time - did not feel rushed or sold to - although we did pick up some lovely local produce!

Great tour itinerary - the halloumi making was a very short part of the day but fun! The drive to the Troodos mountains and further stops were lovely. Our guide Myra made quite a few passive aggressive comments which made us uncomfortable, and were noticed by other guests as well. This was the only part of the tour we didn’t enjoy and therefore we have taken off one star.

Wonderful way to experience Cyprus' authentic produce, places & people. Great value, would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes food... or culture or agriculture or landscapes or history. We booked halloumi-making for the last day of our stay on-island but wished we'd done it sooner because it's an ideal, safe and relaxing way to explore. A clean, comfortable vehicle turned up on time with a highly professional guide, Dimitri, who had the perfect balance of enthusiasm, knowledge and fun. We got hands-on making the cheese and learned about every step of the small-batch process on a family-run farm in the hills before eating all the efforts of our work! We also stopped off for tastings at a winery, olive farm & sweet shop, but the Monastery and Folk house visits were outstanding, unforgettable gems that we will treasure. Thanks for helping us make some great memories in Cyprus.

Our guide was knowledgable and attentive. The experience itself was fascinating and we visited some interesting places afterwards. A delightful day

This was a really great introduction to Cyprus on our first day there. Elena was a really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable guide who goes the extra mile, and the halloumi-making felt like an authentic insight into Cypriot food culture. The views of the Troodos from the monastery were really special too!

Elena was our tour guide for the day, and we can certainly see why these tours get 5 stars every time! It’s a full day (9 – 5), and it’s not just about the halloumi making either, there were 4 aspects to the tour; the cheese making, a visit to a monastery, then a winery and finally a Cypriot Delight manufacturer. At the end of the halloumi making, there’s a brunch which includes the fresh halloumi just made, as well as bread, other cheese, salad, and so on. There was plenty and no one went hungry. At all the locations you can buy the produce if you wish, but if you don’t want to, there’s certainly no pressure or obligation to do so. Having said that, we came home with a suitcase containing halloumi, biscuits, desert wine from the monastery and sweets – our cases weighed quite a bit more going home than they did coming. The tours are small, only 7 people on ours, which makes it very personal, unlike large group tours, where the guide just really only stands at the front of a coach and just talks. But because of the small size, this is not like that at all – the whole day is a two-way experience. And again, because it’s a small group, the people on the tour also talk to each other much more than they would otherwise do. Elena was exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly very proud of Cyprus and its food and drink and did a first-rate job being our guide for the day. The next time we holiday in Cyprus (which I’m sure will be next year), we will definitely be booking another Cyprus Taste Tour!

This was such a wonderful experience. Christina was incredible - she was charming and brought so much insight with her knowledge of Paphos and Cyprus as a whole. My girlfriend and I definitely felt safe and taken care of from the moment Christina picked us up from our AirBnB. She made sure we were all enjoying ourselves and she had answers for our many questions throughout the day. We had so much fun making cheese, seeing the sights, and enjoying each other's company.

We had a lovely day, only a small group allowed on this trip which was perfect as we didn't have to cram into a vehicle. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and took us to some pleasant locations, with amazing views and tastings, after the halloumi making. We would highly recommend.
