This was a great tour in a convoy around Berlin. The guide in the lead car was very clear over the radio system and good fun. My husband was so pleased that he’d been able to drive a trabant around the city. We’d certainly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Berlin!

My 12-year old son and I did this self-drive tour and it was great fun. It's not the easiest to drive at the start but after 15 mins you are a pro. :-) The information given by the guide was good and he kept the convoy together. It wouldn't be the only tour I would do in Berlin as you don't make photo stops and we didn't get near the Brandenburg gate or the Reichstag, also not the Victory Angel. We drove mostly on the former east Berlin side and along the east side gallery. It was very enjoyable for us both.

This was an amazing experience with a very well informed and fun guide. Everything was well organized and very friendly. Really the best and most funny way to get to know Berlin! Would recommend it and do it again! Enjoy! 👍👍👍

To be fair, I showed up right on time, which apparently in Berlin is 10-15 minutes late. My guide was incredibly rude. I don’t even want to go into it. The car was not easy to drive so I quit and returned it straight away. I would recommend it to others because I imagine others might have fun on the tour, it just wasn’t for me. Just make sure you arrive 15 minutes early!! 😉

We had a great time and really enjoyed the tour. If you are the driver it's probably not the best way of seeing the city as driving the car does take quite a bit of attention! I am 6'2" and both me and my wife are large people! We were concerned about fitting in the car but there was actually plenty of room width wise for large people. I struggled to get my legs under the steering wheel a bit and using the pedals was a bit challenging due to the length of my legs but I did manage. I was pleased that we were on an hour tour rather than a 2 hour one though purely from a comfort point of view. There was absolutely no room for anyone on the back seat with us in the front. Our tour guide was entertaining and reassuring making sure that no-one got left behind or lost.

3 of us did the trabant tour in one trabant. Our tour guide Jon was very knowledgeable on the history of Berlin as well as the cars themselves. Easy enough to drive and great fun. Definitely recommended.

This was a fun and memorable experience that I would recommend. However, it's not easy getting to grips with driving the car and I felt like the support at the start was lacking and the woman slightly impatient with me. Because of the concentration required, I didn't take very much of the commentary or scenery in so I would say this is more of an experience than a tour. It was also quite hard to understand the guide over the radio at times.

We wanted to do something fun and a little different and this ticked the boxes. We had a lot of laughs and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He did not go looking for a tip at the end and we were glad, as had paid a lot for the tour in the first place. We saw parts of Berlin that we had not previously seen. However this trip is for the confident driver and we were lucky enough to be the car behind the guide. It must have been a lot trickier for those at the back. There is a radio system and the guide can talk to you, but you cannot talk back. He makes sure that everyone is with him and pulls over to wait for people. There is a phone number to ring should you get lost. We were glad that we had been on a bike tour the day before and had already heard details about the city, as trying to concentrate on the commentary was hard. There were bathrooms and a shop at the base, but this area needed a real tidy up. If you passes by to have a look this may have put you off! Good fun.

What an excellent experience! Get yourself booked onto this! You will not regret it!! The guide really knew his stuff even though the protests closed a vital road!! Good work!!

Great way to see Berlin! Driving a Trabi is a unique experience and lends perspective to a tour of Berlin sights. Be ready for a fiddly transmission and clutch combo!
