This was a great place idea. I'm so happy I did it. The castle museum is spectacular and I stayed to hear a really special concert in the Chapel. Make sure to plan enough to see everything.

PALACE From the rush visits to the palace we realised that it’s amazing and well kept. Really recommended. HOWEVER, because TripAdvisor didn’t bother to mention the time for the last entrance, we missed a proper and enjoyable visits to the palace! So instead of visiting the palace and attending the concert on the same day, we had to reschedule the visit to the day after and we only had 1 hour (before catching our train back) to visit a palace that would easily required 3 hours! CONCERT None of the music played was from Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart nor Beethoven as mentioned in the TripAdvisor add. The chapel was beautiful though and the musicians were good, but unfortunately the disappointment of not listening to a Beethoven or Mozart piece didn’t let us enjoy the music enough. Also the program with the list of pieces played was distributed at the end of the concert… And lastly, extremely poor organisation! It took us over an hour to find the entrance to the chapel! Nobody knew where the chapel was and the info on TripAdvisor were not clear enough!

This was just stunning. To see the detail and art work is breath taking. It was the highlight of our trip to Europe.

I simply could not locate the starting point for this event. Asking several people at other events was also fruitless. Nobody knew where I should go. I would recommend much, much better directions. Even a lat/long would be helpful.

The chapel has incredible acoustics The two persons playing were very accomplished musicians. There was one violinists and one guitarist but they way they played I would have thought that there were two more musicians accompanying them. Finding the chapel was more than a challenge. We had thrown in the towel in trying to find the chapel when we found it on exiting the complex. We had asked 5 different workers in the massive building complex and not one had an idea where the chapel was.

The classical concert in the chapel was really nice. It is not always the same as they play different composers and concerts each week. The musicians are awesome and I enjoyed each second. Recommended for sure. You can also visit the museum in another day.

The classical concert in the chapel was amazing! The musicians are incredibly talented and we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The next day we toured the Residenz. I recommend you go as early as possible. We went at 9-9:30 am and we almost had the tour to ourselves, which was great for photos. Give yourself the entire morning. Well worth it!

Good concert, but : - incomplete documentation from Viator (fyi, the tickets ARE retreived at the chappel 's entrance at 6pm) - tickets that were given did not include the Residenz's entrance (we are still waiting for further instructions)

We booked for Thursday 13 January several days ago. Today Mon 10 January we recieved an email from the organisers saying sadly the concert cannot take place, but we can change your booking to a diverent concert. I will put the link of our website down below were you can find a different concert. I followed the link provided and the next concert is in February. We return to Australia on 20 January so it is unlikely we will be able to attend (australian humor - we wont be fltying back just for the co cert)! Have requested a refund.

Frustrated

This tour is not available and should be removed from your site. I had chatted with one of the Viator employees prior to booking the event and was assured everything was in order. Terribly disappointed. One star is one too many. Our group of eight senior citizens (one man is almost ninety) planned this activity as our only event in Munich, spent 22 euros on a taxi to attend the concert and tour the museum only to find out that the concert was canceled and the museum was closed for remodeling. Although we will be requesting a refund, our vacation time in Munich was extremely short and we lost the oppotunity to plan a different activity whole visiting this beautiful city. I have used your services in the past with positive results, but because of this experience have lost confidence in your company.
