Great to see and hear history on Old town and its evolution . Our guide was fab and very knowledgeable fantastic english and answered every question and showed us little places we had missed on our own walk around. Keyed everything together and explained the significance of each The seaplane harbour was great and to be able to explore the ice breaker and submarine was fab . As a side note next door to seaplane harbour is an old prison that is currently closed until May 2020 but looks well worth a visit our guide recommended it and the walk past piqued my interest. Well worth it great value and interesting

Great introduction to Tallinn and Estonia. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history. Estonia has a brutal past, and has had numerous invaders, gaining its independence from the Soviets in 1991. Its amazing the old town has survived - its very beautiful. After our walk in the old town, we then went down to the Sea Plane museum past the old prison - which sounds chilling. The Sea Plane museum is fantastic. Beautiful building and great food for a late lunch. We finished our tour feeling that we had a better understanding of the history of Estonia, and maybe, just maybe an insight into the culture, as well as the courage, fortitude and stoic nature of the Estonians.
