Your Itinerary

Port Vauban

We join the trip at the internationaly renown Port Vauban which is a French yachting harbor located in Antibes on the French Riviera. Originally a natural harbor in use since before the Roman Empire, the port was fortified by Sébastien Le Prestre, Seigneur de Vauban, later Marquis de Vauban, King Louis XIV's military engineer

Fort Carre

(Pass by)

Leaving the Port Vauban Harbour we will see The Fort Carré which is a 16th-century star-shaped fort of four arrow-head shaped bastions, that stands on the outskirts of Antibes. Henri de Mandon built the fort and then during the 17th century, the Marquis de Vauban redeveloped it.

Villa Eilenroc

(Pass by)

As we travel South West we will see the Villa Eilenroc at the tip of Cap d'Antibes. This exceptional residence symbolizes the luxury and voluptuousness of the Belle Epoque. It was built in 1867 following plans by Charles Garnier, the architect of the Paris and Monte Carlo opera houses. The park surrounding the villa is planted with traditional species of the Mediterranean landscape. At the heart of this conservation area, a public rose garden offers the fragrances and essence

Juan les Pins Main Beach

(Pass by)

As we move on around the coast we come to the beaches of Juan les Pins. Nearly the entire coast of Juan-les-Pins is fringed by sandy beaches that run from the Port Gallice in the east to the edge of Vallauris-Golf Juan in the west.

Iles de Lerins

We stop for a while at the magnificent Ile de Lerins allowing time for guests to either disembark and explore the islands on foot, and maybe picnic, or for them to swim in the warm and snorkel in the warm, crystal clear sea. Situated in an unspoilt, natural setting, these Mediterranean beauty spots offer visitors a unique combination of flora and fauna, as well as an unusual history that includes the mysteries of the Man in the Iron Mask and the tranquility of Cistercian monks.

Musee Picasso

We booked this tour for our family to be able to have a unique boating and snorkeling experience and we certainly found it with Captain Mark. Mark was truly a multi faceted, renaissance man who was very knowledgeable in the history of the area and the best sites to visit. He tailored the tour to our requests and offered some additional gems of sites that we truly enjoyed. He even ordered pizza and drinks for us to enjoy as we sun bathed on his deck. We can't recommend this tour more and we know you will truly enjoy your time as much as we did. Thanks Mark!

Mark and his crew mate Louis were fantastic, very knowledgeable about the area and a real pleasure to hang with for a gorgeous, sunny afternoon on the Côte d’Azur.

We had such a lovely time out with Mark and Louis. Our family of 4 (with kids ages 12 and 9) all enjoyed the time tremendously. Mark and Louis were very attentive to our needs and often made sure those of us that sometimes get motion sickness were comfortable and at ease. We had a marvelous time snorkeling, swimming, and jumping in the water. Mark and Louis both provided interesting information about the area and were fun to be with. They were great with our kids as well. We highly recommend this trip!

There was a slight hiccup as the third party booking agent double booked our time slot. Luckily, we were able to switch to the morning slot which was still available. I strongly suggest to just book directly with them. After the mix-up, my original timing remained available for booking at the booking site. We had a fantastic time. Mark was always easy to contact and we relied on his suggestion as to where to go. We even managed to swim a bit near the Esterel mountains. And Louis was always ready to take our pictures for us and pour our drinks. We had a lovely time on this boat tour. The boat was spacious and clean. We spent a week in the South of France and this was definitely one of the best experiences for us during that week.

Our family of 4 rented this private boat and it was the best thing ever! Captain Mark (British) and his 1st mate Louis (Belgian) were amazing. Loved them both. The boat was lovely. Always a place for shade (I don’t do sun) or one can lay out in the sun on the front deck. Bathroom below deck. You can stop for a swim or snorkel as we did. (Note the beautiful clear water is a bit wavy so strong swimming skills needed) You bring your own food/water (nothing red that would stain the white interior of the boat) and bring towels, hats, sunglasses, sunblock. Perfectly safe to bring phones on board for picture taking or to hook up to their wifi to play music. They let our 15 year old drive the boat and she had a huge smile the whole time! We hated to leave the boat!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Note: we booked the tour on trip advisor (about $640 USD) but learned this did not include paying for the crew (about $250€) nor the fuel ($70 € per hour). These fees are paid at the end of the trip. But it is so worth it. We also tipped each of these lovely men $50.00 € in case you want tipping guidance. They were so gracious and wonderful. If we had been in the area another day, we would have gone back!! Don’t hesitate to book this trip. Just heaven.

My husband and I had a lovely time on this boat tour! Mark was a fabulous captain and guide and gave us a lot of insight in the area. Highly recommend booking this experience!

This was our first time in Antibes, France, and this boat tour was the highlight of our trip! The boat is docked at Port Vauban, so if you are staying in Old Town Antibes, it is a very easy walk to get to. We booked this boat rental for a Sunday afternoon. The outstanding customer service started before we even got on the boat – Sunday morning we received a call from the host letting us know the current morning rain was going to continue into the afternoon, and suggested we push our boat tour a couple hours later to get the best weather possible. We got lucky that a sunset tour was not booked later that day, so we really appreciated the host’s flexibility to push the tour back. When we arrived at the boat, we were greeted by Mark (the captain) and his partner, Gina. Our boat rental included myself, my wife, and the two hosts (4 people in total), and there was plenty of room and could have fit more. Both of the hosts were extremely kind, friendly and pleasant – they have very cool life stories so if you find yourself chatting it up with them, they are fun to talk to! They gave us some information on the port and allowed us to make what we wanted of the time on the water. We chose to mainly cruise up the coastline to Cannes and find spots for snorkeling. The host suggested different swimming and snorkeling areas and even took us to a very cool spot off small islands of Cannes where we saw an art installation of underwater statues by artist Jason deCaires Taylor – look it up! The snorkeling gear was readily available. The host offered to take several photos of us (on the boat, while we snorkeled, etc.) with our cameras to capture the moment and beautiful scenery. There is a small cooler on the boat to hold any snacks/drinks. There is a cabin below with a kitchenette, seating and a working bathroom (all very clean and modern).I highly recommend bringing a bottle of champagne and a small picnic to enjoy. Four hours was the perfect amount of time to snorkel, pop a bottle of champagne, see the coat of Antibes, and meet two wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this tour to make it the highlight of your trip in Antibes!
