We absolutely loved this tour (my husband & I) we were so lucky to have one of the most knowledgeable tour guides ever Ang¿s! She taught us so much about champagne on our way to Épernay. I was a little hesitant because some have said they were unable to get into specific champagne houses, we didn’t have any issues. I booked it well in advance. I just made sure to let them know which one we wanted to visit and made sure to follow up once we got closer. We went on a weekday during the slower season. Also, I wanted to note that Paris traffic is literally no joke. We stayed at the Hilton Paris Opera (very busy because it’s close to everything you need to see your first time in Paris) we still made perfect timing but just wanted to express that’s definitely something they cannot control especially when it comes to your location of pick up. On to the tour! We had the pleasure of visiting Moët & Chandon. The tour was very nice, we were able to walk through their cellars while learning of their process. Once finished we received two full glasses of champagne (this was apart of the booking price). Then you have the opportunity to purchase any additional bottles is you choose, no pressure at all. Also, Dom Perignon is produced by Moët, they sell bottles of Dom in the gift shop and they are priced very fair! Our tour guide then took use down Champagne Avenue to see all the other houses we were good on time so we were able to stop at one and enjoy another tasting (we paid for that but you get a full glass). Then we made our way to Dom Perignon’s burial but before we stopped we had some lunch and enjoyed some more champagne tastings in the same town (this was not included). Once we were finished we visited the church where Dom Perignon is buried. Then we made our way to a smaller champagne house (Pierre Morlet). This was honestly the best part of the tour! Not only was their champagne divine the hospitality was exceptional! We got to see their cellars and learn even more about the champagne process. Then we got to see the production side of it which was so cool! It will definitely make you appreciate your champagne and all the hard work that goes into it. Lastly, we were able to try anything we wanted, we loved their vintage. Our tour was 11 hours total from pick up at our hotel to drop off. It was worth every penny to have a guide lead us throughout the entire day! The only thing I’d recommend is if you plan to purchase bottles be sure to bring and extra piece of luggage ☺️ I’m ready to go back and spend a few days honestly it was hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Cheers 🥂

Clement was extraordinary! Not only was he knowledgeable and engaging, he was passionate and funny. His sense of humor fit our group’s vibe and his flexibility to our private group’s needs made for an unforgettable experience. The best part was the unexpected experience at the local producer’s property. Eric the owner had us in stitches. (He’s not always there.) But wow! We had hope to visit the houses of Moët et Chandon, but due to late booking our tour took us to Mercier, WOW!! The history was amazing. So glad it turned out the way it did. Of course , the photos we took at the vineyards were amazing (weather was good). Clement set out a picnic blanket and really made our experience unforgettable. Along the drive he chatted and described the sights answered a trillion questions and always had a smile. Confident and experienced, he made this experience a pleasure for the group in the car. Only regret is that the other car I booked for the rest of the group didn’t have clement. They slept. We laughed.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our tour to the Champagne region France. First and foremost our tour guide Augustin was a jem. He was very informative, funny and sincere. He made our day to be one of the best days of our vacation. Highly recommend this tour if you get him. Thank you and we will be back!

We had a great time. The tour was informative and fun. We did both, the big producer tour and the local small producer, where we got to meet the actual grandson of the founder of the house. Leant a ton!!! And spent the whole day touring through the most gorgeous landscapes and the cutest authentic French towns and villages! And of course champagne all day! All around, fantastic experience in a great company of old and new friends.

A FANTASTIC experience, our guide Fatah, took great care of us and really took us step by step during the trip, to really dive into the region of Champagne, we saw a big house producer of champagne, it can be Mercier, Moet or Veuve depending on the availability of the houses, if you want one in particular make sure you let them know with time before your trip! They will definitely help you! Also they took us to a small champagne producer who really immersed us into the world of crafting champagne, a great person and a true connaisseur of Champagne. Over all a MUST DO tour, with great service, true experiences and amazing tour guides guaranteed!

Our driver, Clement, was the owner of Finding France (a tour agency) and the our guide for the day. His knowledge of the region and the people was amazing. We went to Paris in the last week of January and did not know what to expect but what we found was a delightful, very personalized day. At the beginning of the tour, Clement told us a couple of the big champagne producers were closed and that we would not be visiting them. We had not given it much thought about vineyards not producing wines or champagnes in the off season. It worked out quite well because we visited a smaller producer, where the owner is 77 and fifth generation champagne maker, who took us into his home and we sat at his kitchen table while he explained the entire process of champagne making). He then gave us a complete private tour the champagne producing process, from the pressing of the grapes and how fermented into champagne and the removal of sediment and finally bottling of the champagne. He even showed us some of the old fashioned way of doing it and the more automated way of doing it. (As an aside, even with automation, it is still a labor intensive process and now I understand why some champagnes can be so expensive.) After the tour, we sat in his kitchen and he gave us several different champagnes to taste test, some different years and some different blends. He was very generous with the pours for any of you who are reading this who like to drink (no judgement.) I on the other hand was not able to drink that much that day. In summary, this turned out to be a delightful day and with a delightful elderly champagne maker. Thanks to Clement we had an experience that we never expected, when we set out for the two hour drive to the Champagne District from Paris. One nice thing about the end of the tour, we had the opportunity to buy some champagne but there was no pressure and there was very little attention given to the commercial side of the business. I have been on a number of wine making tours where the ultimate goal was to sell you wine. Not the case here. This was an elderly champagne maker who welcomed us into his home and gave us a very personalized tour. A very important component of the day was the delightful stories and history provided by our guide. He lived in the United States for a number of years so his English was impeccable and his stories of contrasting American and French cultures/lifestyles was equally entertaining. I am glad I chose this personalized tour rather than a group tour of the champagne district. There is no way you could conceivably be disappointed
