4th of July is federal holiday in the Unite States which commemorates the Declaration of Independence, when in 1776 the thirteen American colonies were no longer subject to the monarch of Britain and were united, free, and independent states.

American Independence Day is now a date in the calendar for Americans to take time off work and spend time with family and friends, no matter where you are in the world. It is the perfect holiday for family reunions; and travelling to see people in other parts of the Country.
