Aireville Park is a large open space with sporting facilities and play areas in the heart of Skipton. It dates back to the 1830s when it was created by Henry Allcock as part of the Aireville Estate. Upon his death, wealthy Skipton mill owners, the Dewhurst family, purchased the estate and Aireville Hall.

Had a really enjoyable trip as a family, very comical and interesting. Would highly recommend for any age. Great that seats are all allocated beforehand.
Erm … not sure how to grade this one. It was a 30minute chug down a canal turned around and came back, saw a few barges and narrow boats along the way. What makes the 1 hour excursion was a recorded commentary by Dave Spikey ( Jerry from Phoenix Nights) this commentary give you some history of Skipton which is interesting and funny.
Really enjoyed our 1 hour cruise, brilliant commentary , very funny. Extremely good prices for drinks on board. Overall would highly recommend.
We had a lovely hour on the boat the history was very interesting also the guy was so funny great sense of humour. It was spoilt a bit because of children shouting not that they were doing anything wrong but I would have thought their parents might have asked them to be quiet while everyone was listening to the commentary.
Relaxing, informative and a jolly good time. Perfect way to wind down and spend an hour or so. Recommended
