Worth a visit. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. My only criticism is that it's a bit 'tired' looking - a few things were not working, pieces were missing or broken etc. An attraction like this with many visitors and interactive elements needs regular upkeep. I'm not sure that's happening as much as it should. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and learned a lot.

The first part of the experience was great. 'Diagnosis Alley' was what I was expecting, but there wasn't much of it. It was very impressively themed to look like a dark, disease-ridden alleyway, although the UV writing wasn't particularly easy to read. The autopsy room was where it went downhill. 6/7 big plaques on the walls with quite hefty chunks of writing on each. Lots of names included which didn't really add much. A tv in there also showed videos of what we assume were the same as what was on the plaques, from what we overheard. The mannequin in there was a bit worse for wear. Fingers ripped off, one of the organs on string was missing. It looked quite cool anyway, and the look of the room itself was interesting to be in. After this room you walk in a snaking fashion to the exit. This walkway took up about 2 thirds of the attraction. There are more plaques heavily loaded with information on the walls either side of you, all along the walkway, with a few visually interesting areas, eg toilet lids opening or parts of mannequins showing various diseases. And to our surprise, even these areas had hidden essays to read through. For two adults who love history and things of this sort, this attraction was not very fun. Too much info to take in, we ended up walking through the end bits without reading anything as it became incredibly draining. We wouldn't recommend this for kids, especially as it's very quick to walk through without reading all of it. Unfortunately you can see the potential this place has, it could be 10x better with half the writing and a few more mannequins.

It was very good, had lots of good and interesting stuff. Our boys (13&11) really enjoyed it.It might be a bit scary for under 10’s.Would recommend a visit.

Lots of fun! My 9 year old loved all the gory facts and interactive bits, particularly the toilet section! Plenty to do for just over an hour.

I guess we expected this to be a dungeons-esque walkthrough attraction from the advertisements. However, after paying the £7 entry fee, our hopes flopped. I wanted gore, history, stories and possibly scares. We got none of those things and it seemed very homespun e.g. a painted sponge as a bladder. Round in 20 mins. Save your money.

Fabulous fun and interactive journey through medical history. Funny bits and great learning. We felt welcome from the start and there was lots to see and do.

This was a good laugh…very interactive with lots of games and different things to take part in. For £8 I can’t complain, the staff were enthusiastic and very informative. Would recommend families with older children who are keen on history… little kids would get bored.

We were looking forward to this attraction but, unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. Most of the exhibits were a 'word salad', with far too much to read and little to interact with. The kids were bored very quickly. A lot of the exhibits they do have look old and worn, with a lot of damage too.

Interesting, informative, funny and with stuff suitable for all ages (though not all stuff is suitable for all ages, mind… in a good way!!). Feels like a must see in Chester. Thought it was a really great use of an impressive building, essentially bang in the centre of town. Sometimes feels like the only thing to do in Chester is eat and drink, but attractions like this make visits to the city centre worthwhile!

Very cramped and crowded , far to busy to read the information , was in and out in less then 15 mins , the shop was less than impressive .
