First morning no hot buffet breakfast but cold buffet and cereals available. The waitress informed us about this but said we could order from the a la carte breakfast menu which we did- my friend had the 2 duck egg omelette with ham. I asked for a smaller one duck egg omelette with cheese and tomato which was equally delicious. On our second morning full hot buffet available which was superb. Service was excellent. Disliked · There was nothing I could really fault. Front desk staff were excellent. Spacious room. The hotel opened last year and you have to walk over the Peace Bridge to get to the main walled city but that wasn't an issue. I was allowed to use the Spa area but didn't have time to book a treatment. Maybe one issue we were in room 128 and it was a bit of a pain to get there going through several doors where you either needed your key card or had to press a button to progress,

Our guide Gleann was warm and personable. He is very knowledgeable about the history of his city, and as a native of Derry city he can provide an intimate insight into the real experiences of the local community during the conflict in the North of Ireland. We would highly recommend this tour, it is an important part of irish history in Derry.

A must if you’re in Derry. Our guide, Gleann Doherty, is an expert on the city’s history and will tailor your tour to your interests/based on your questions. His content knowledge spans hundreds of years and is more than comfortable talking about Derry today. I learned a ton and had a blast!

Gleann was a wonderful guide - certainly knew his stuff but more than that was personable & happy to chat about life in general & growing up in Derry in particular. He was also very helpful with restaurant suggestions & options for our ongoing travels. Would thoroughly recommend this business Jim

Our guide, Glean, was eminently knowledgeable, clear, engaging, and blessed with a quick and warm Irish wit. The impact of his explanations of the events surrounding Bloody Sunday, when he lost his dad in the murderous shooting, cannot be overstated. Powerful stuff we'll not soon forget.

We chose this tour but asked Gleann to include some of the Derry Girls Tour as well since we had seen the series. He was very accommodating and flexible. We are now watching the series again in a whole new light. Our tour was super informational coming from a man whose family grew up living through the troubles. Gleann was timely and funny and kind! We highly recommend using him.

The tour was really informative and Gleann was a great story teller. His personal insights made the walk especially educational and moving. He was also a great resource for services in the city. We went to a restaurant he recommended that we would not have found and had an outstanding meal. Thanks for opportunity to learn so much about Derry.
