Introduction

Welcome to the World of Scuba Diving! This introductory class serves as the perfect gateway to learning how to Scuba Dive. Conducted in a deep pool under the guidance and supervision of a seasoned Diving Professional, this experience will immerse you in the incredible world of diving.

What to Expect

The adventure begins at 6:00 pm when we pick you up from the front entrance of The Counting House pub. During the drive to the Leisure Centre, you'll have the opportunity to meet our Professional Scuba Diving Instructor with 28 years of diving experience. Learn about his fascinating tales of diving in Scotland, the British waters, and exotic locations worldwide. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and gain insights into the differences between cold water and tropical water diving, as well as the captivating marine life you can encounter. Once at the Leisure Centre, our experienced Instructor will introduce you to the equipment, explaining each part and how it functions. Then, fully geared up, we'll enter the pool. With a gradual approach tailored to your comfort level, you'll practice fundamental skills at your own pace. We'll capture this memorable experience with underwater photos for you to share with friends and family. Afterward, we'll guide you through the process of safely disassembling and maintaining the diving equipment. At 10:00 pm, we'll say our farewells and drop you off at the meeting point. The entrance fee to the swimming pool, equipment rental, transport to and from the Leisure Centre, and tank fills are all included in the experience.
