The experienced knowledgeable friendly driver/leader couldn’t have been better. He explained the background history in an entertaining manner and reminded us how fortunate we were to visit on a day when there were very few other people.

A very wonderfully planned tour and we had an amazing guide Paul. He told us what to do at each destination. Money well spent.

My wife and me went for the Jurassic coast tour with our brothers who had come to visit us. Paul, our guide for the trip, was very friendly, accommodating and ensured we had a thoroughly entertaining and fun trip. Especially enjoyed the snippets about Bournemouth and other places throughout the trip. For folks who are planning for the trip, while it is primarily a bus journey, there are a couple of spots that involve a fairly decent bit of walking such as the walk along the cliffs and the 30-odd mins walk to and back from the durdle door beach. So pack appropriate footwear and jackets for cold/rainy weather. 10/10 will do trips with the discover dorset team again. :)

I went on a half day trip on Friday to Lulworth cove and Durdle door and then on the full day jurassic Coast trip yesterday . Paul was our driver and tour guide extraordinaire on both days. I have been on holiday in Bournemouth both in 2018 and in 2022 and om both occasions been on one of your trips. It is the Beauty of the jurassic Coast that brings me here on repeated occasions ..I holiday alone and the trips I have had with discover Dorset are the best part of each holiday I have had . Each time I see something different of the area. I meet And talk to different people and get as I have In the last 2 days to take amazing photos. A friend I shared them with on what's app commented on the ' cool ' things I had seen and photographed and the stories about the area I had told her from Paul's commentary. Paul went out of his way to be kind and helpful to myself and others . We had one man who had a lot of mobility issues and it was heartwarming at one stop to see Paul going out of his way to help the man's wife get him up the steep path. I cannot praise the trips with discover Dorset enough and the fact j have booked trips during 3 different holidays tells you that I have really enjoyed and loved these trips and found them value for money and part of my wish to return to Bournemouth in the future. I will be visiting Another part of the UK in 2024 but all being well plan to return here in 2025 and will be looking to come on one of the trips Discover Dorset run then . If there were anything that could bendkne better then I would say it as I like to be honest and say things as they are but there is not

A great day. Dave was the perfect guide who demonstrated great knowledge of the local area and gave everyone some great tips about each area. The only thing that let the day down was the clientèle. Whilst parents do need to keep their children entertained does it have to be at the expense of others. This quasi crèche experience wasnt pleasant. If phones / ipads are used to entertain the children please consider others. Limit the volume so that it certainly isn't louder than the PA system but better still bring headphones for the kids. Also be considerate when consuming food either the night before or on the coach. Smelly food or the after effects of such does not make for a pleasant experience travelling experience for others. Finally your time us no more important than others so if a meet up time is given do not stroll casually along 5, 10, 20 mins later. It's inconsiderate. Putting the clientèle issues aside this is a great way of seeing the South Coast and good value for money overall. Great work Dave! 👏
