We had a wonderful trip. Our tour guide Dan was absolutely perfect, the best tour guide we’ve ever had! The driver did a great job too.

We have done several local tours in several countries. We always enjoy hearIng about the local country and culture from people with the local accent and personal experience of growing up in that country. The tour guide on this tour had a heavy foreign accent .There were 3 trainees on the bus also from other countries.

The tour is very good. You depart early in the morning in a coach. The bus is comfortable. Pablo, our guide, was very nice. He told us the history of the places we met and also about London. He was funny and kind. Leeds castle is very nice and the tour Is not long but that has nothing to do with golden tours, Its Just the visit to the inside of the castle is short. This part of the tour Lasts about an hour. They gave us a Lunch box, with a sándwich, Walter, etc Then we headed to Dover. There the bus makes a Stop for you to take photos of the beach and the cliffs of Dover (seen from the distance). Then we headed to Canterbury, i think this is the most important part of the tour because They gave you two hours to visit the cathedral and the town on your own. Last but not least , the bus Stops at Greenwich(in its way back to London) and you see some places of interest. Then the guide takes you to the pier, where you take the Thames clipper to Embankment pier. You get to see a nice view of London from the river. The tour is nice, above all. You get tired of walking so much, but the experience is worth it

First off leeds castle and Dover is awesome. After seeing Dover castle I really wanted to go in. The cliffs were neat. I also stuck my feet in the cold Atlantic just to say I've been in both sides. The lunch wasnt thay great. That sauce on the sandwich was not very good. We headed to Canterbury cathedral which was neat but was under restoration so alot of scaffolding. We ate in the town which was very cool. Then headed to Greenwich and stood on the prime meridian line. Took about 1hr and 30mins to get from London the leeds then just short drives everywhere else. Really good tour to see everything. Now for the only bad part. We booked an English only tour but when we arrived they told us would be with a mandrian Chinese group too. I was fine with the tour guide switching off. What not was cool was how the Asians pushed to the front of the queues instead if waiting their turn. They were also rude to other non asians. Not all of them were this way. There was a group of women that caused all the issues. Stand in line like the Brits, Americans and other countries citizens did. Not golden tours fault.

This was a wonderful tour. David was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We would recommend David and the bus driver Koli to anyone and we would ask for David if we were to do any other tours out of London.

In my opinion is too expensive for the service, the castel is nice, and canterbury fine, although there is not much time to walk arround. In addiotn, the cliffs is a waste of time, as you see them from very very far away and with any nice view of it. and in 5min... Moreover, the boat is no interesting or special. you are in a ship with little option to be outdoors, for 15min or mabey 20, without any explanation of what is any building or anythink like that. I won't recomend it to any body, for that price I would rather get a coupre of train/bus tikets and visit the different places on my own beeing able to enjoy them.

As was the case with a previous tour, this booking experience with Golden Tours was again surprisingly careless. After purchasing the tour, I followed the instruction to send my requested tour date, ticket number, number of people and requested pick-up location, to the Golden Tours booking office. I then promptly received a tour confirmation with almost all of the information wrong! I replied, noting the errors, and once again received a confirmation with much of the information wrong (but with different errors!). After the third time of clearly noting the errors and repeating the correct information, it was corrected satisfactorily. This was actually an improvement over my frustrating previous experience, when it took 6 emails to finally convince them to read the simple information and record it correctly! Given the consistency and extent of the carelessness, it is apparent that Golden Tours has (or had) a real problem in its booking office. Never the less, once underway, this tour progressed flawlessly. The tour director was well prepared and informative. She not only gave good overviews of the sites visited, but provided continuous commentary on the areas we travelled through. I very much appreciated the additional information that was not normally expected as part of a tour. So, thank you to Debbie. Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral were the highlights of this tour, with Dover and Greenwich being only photo stops. I would have liked a bit more time at Canterbury Cathedral and to have seen the Greenwich Observatory, but compromises between time and variety of sites is the unfortunate nature of bus tours. The return trip from Greenwich to central London by river boat was a very nice feature of this tour. The only real criticism of this tour was the optional lunch provided at Canterbury. The fish and chips at the Parrott Pub was a horrible disappointment. It was quite obviously a frozen, processed meal direct from a supermarket box, as was the dessert. I’m certain that no self-respecting pub would ever dare serve such barely edible stuff to their regular customers. I assume this is reserved as a cheap, quick meal especially for tour passengers. Many people on the tour found lunch on their own (and oddly were directed to pubs in the opposite direction). I strongly recommend that others do the same if the Parrot Pub is the lunch stop on any future tours. Overall, this tour offered a lot in terms of sites and history, but was never rushed nor tiring. Unlike some other tours, it offered a reasonable break for a relaxing lunch, just make sure you find a decent one! I think it was the right balance of time, distance and venues, and I left feeling quite satisfied with the day.

Giro interessante, guida (Danxia) molto brava a spiegare i posti. Posti molto belli, escludibile Dover. Il castello di Leeds è molto bello
