While wandering along the paths filled with leaves, you can spot the impressive houses in which such historic figures as Winston Churchill, writer Horace Walpole and Rolls-Royce co-founder Charles Rolls lived. It is this small chapel where royals like the Queen Mother and Lady Diana have lain in their coffins before their funerals. But even the royal family has its secrets, buried deep into the ground or maybe, in this chapel. Right, well, where to start. Honestly I'm kind of thrown by the whole experience. To get the boring stuff out of the way first, the directions were occasionally out of date and hard to follow. But more importantly this isn't really a ghost tour. It's more like an "Imagine If There Were Ghosts Here" tour, with must-see sites like Handel's house (where, OK, he did die) where you can imagine his arch-nemesis Dr Greene coming at you out of a wall, before promptly getting dragged back in by some disembodied hands. Right after that you can go see Jimmy Hendrix's appartment... he didn't die there, but he is dead! And what better way to end the tour than by stopping in front of a statue of Queen Alexandra of Denmark and being told about Queen Mary, Charles 1st's wife. Actually scratch that it was her "Court Dwarf" Jeffrey Hudson. He was imprisoned for being Catholic apparently. And you what, that wasnt the only weird Christian thing that happened. Did you know that the sculptures on the the front (sorry, facade) of the house four doors down of what was once the opera gallery, are not really sculptures. In fact, they are people placed there by the devil. The devil also comes up as a potential resisdent of 50 Berkeley Place. But not to worry, we're going to pass at least two churches, the first has the super hard question of "Who is worshipped here?" (hint: the answer is God). The other one promises to heal with the power of faith (no hauntings here). So after having gone through all this, once my friend had read the story about Jeffrey aloud to me, some crazy guy came up to us and started complaining that Catholics aren't in fact being imprisoned and that the BBC are full of policemen and some other not very nice things that I'm not going to mention. So think back the content of the tour thus far and consider the fact that this was the final stop (quite an anticlimactic one). This man was so thematically appropriate that we found it quite hard to convince ourselves that he wasn't part of the tour. To cap it all off we bumped into an anti-vaxer rally, which to be fair isn't this tour's fault, just though it would bear mentioning.

Ghostly Clues bore absolutely no semblance to the game Awful. I can see why looking at some of the reviews now my opinion is shared.... Complete waste our monies

This was a total waste of money and time. I took my whole family up London for an adventure it was a nightmare from the start. First it took numerous messages to the online customer services to activate the game this took over 1hr for which my family were a little agitated as they wanted to play. Eventually we got started and the clues were all wrong… the names of the road they were asking to find on the left after 2 junctions were in actual fact 10 minutes up the road after numerous junctions and on the the right! Thanks to Google getting me to the names of the roads on the first clue. The second was just the same we needed Google in order to solve how to get to the next destination. So we gave up on this joke game!!! Would not recommend to anyone waste of time

Great game fun and educational. Some typos in the app and some construction in London proved challenging but we had a great time playing.

This was very fun to see the city but some of the directions on the game were in correct and confusing. There were some out dated terms and one of our answers was covered by construction. If these were improved then it would be 5 stars and would have been perfect. It’s worth the £5 if you want to just see new parts of the city.

Sent down a street to find a chapel which isn’t even down that street! How odd. So we gave up as stressed out our group and it was meant to be fun. Became a hassle. Waited until dark as suggested which made it harder to find the bloody chapel on another street!

We enjoyed it a lot, it was a lot of fun to see the sites in London like the Ritz and Buckingham palace. The clues were easy but the some were hard to figure out but we just used the hints which were extremely helpful. The only bad thing is the walking/running but that was only due to us wanting to beat the other group that we had noticed were doing the same quest as us. And we did, so no real complaints here. I would definitely recommend.

This was my second time visiting London with my mates. We really enjoyed getting to more about the city while having an amazing time with the game! Some clues were kinda difficult, which made the game challenging enough for us!
