Regent Street

Known as ‘The Spirits of Christmas’, Regent Street’s Christmas lights display is the largest one in the country, and has a proud history dating way back to its debut in 1954.

Soho

The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife.

Mayfair

Bordering leafy Hyde Park, Mayfair is an upscale district of elegant Georgian townhouses, exclusive hotels, and gourmet restaurants. Its world-famous retailers include bespoke tailors on Savile Row and designer fashions on Bond Street.

London Palladium

The London Palladium is a Grade II* West End theatre located on Argyll Street, London, in the famous area of Soho. The theatre holds 2,286 seats.

Dominion Theatre

The Dominion Theatre is a West End theatre and former cinema on Tottenham Court Road, close to St Giles Circus and Centre Point, in the London Borough of Camden.

Jesuit Church of The Immaculate Conception Farm Street

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic feast celebrating Mary's conception without sin. Even though this feast day occurs in the liturgical season of Advent, which prepares for the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Immaculate Conception refers to the conception of Mary in the womb of her mother.

Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, commonly referred to as Winter Wonderland, is a large annual Christmas event held in Hyde Park, London, from mid-November to early January.

Lots of great lights and our guide Ollie is passionate about sharing the fun. It's a full 2.5 hours of solid walking in crowds so be prepared to be tired.

This was much better then I expected and getting to see this side of town with the lights and commentary is great. Ollie and company where a delight!

Irresponsible guide not answering emails. Fire that person as he she is not professional enough to deal w clients

Hessel_Z

As a person that knows a lot about London, it was good, not much historical info but to see the different colourful and beautiful lights in different areas was amazing. Without the tour, I may have nit seen all the places. I do believe that the tour guides have to be fluent in English. Some of the facts were so unimportant. Biggest Leggo stire, biggest MNM's... not relavent. They are not even British.

This was a great experience! We hit all the hot spots to see the Christmas Lights. I could never have navigated to all the cool spots without the help of our great tour guides. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in London at Christmas!

Sabrina and Rosemary and Bahara were great in guiding us through London seeing the special Christmas venues, lights, markets etc Detailed with historical facts and anekdotes. It was a great tour which we would have never done nor find out ourselves

The whole experience was really enjoyable. Ollie was fantastic. Knowledgeable and humorous, looking after us throughout the tour. It was extremely busy everywhere but she didn’t lose any of us. The lights were amazing and she advised us of the best spots to get the greatest photos. Would highly recommend. Great way to spend an evening. Got us in the Christmas mood.

I made a booking on October 9th via Viator/Trip Advisor with IHeartLondon for “Magical Christmas Walking Tour in London” scheduled for December 9th 2023. Cost for two people was £40, paid via Paypal. The website had stated meeting point was outside Charing Cross, but my email confirmation came through saying “meet at Tottenham Court Road station at 6pm”. Because of this confusion over the meeting point, I emailed IHeartLondon on October 9th requesting clarification. I did not get a reply. On November 12th I emailed them again, asking for clarification of meeting point. They replied asking which platform I had booked on, I replied “Trip Advisor”. I had to chase them again on November 17th and they then replied “The meet-up location will St Martin’s in the Field church, please arrive within 15 minutes of your beginning because it will start exactly at 6pm” They also said “We will look into why the booking formation says Tottenham Court Road station” (I never got an answer to that) and “We will also message you a few days before your tour to confirm again” (which they never did). On November 28th, I received an email from Sabrina at IHeartLondon saying the walk start time had been brought forward to 5pm but “everything else, including the itinerary and the starting locations will stay the same”. On the day of the tour, Saturday December 9th, I received an email at 1.44pm (just 3 hours before meeting time), reminding us to be at the meeting point promptly. For some reason the email was headed “dear Lupita”. The email also gave me the name and phone number for the guide (Ollie) and the name and phone number of the Operations Manager (Sabrina) in case there were any problems. So shortly after that email, we arrived at St Martins in the Field church at 4.40pm ready for the walk. There was no sign of a tour guide, but we waited patiently for her to arrive. No one arrived, so at 5.03pm I phoned Ollie-no answer, so left a voicemail. At 5.04pm I phoned Sabrina, no answer, so left a voicemail. At 5.08pm I phoned Ollie again, no answer, left another voicemail. At 5.13pm I phoned Sabrina again, no answer, left another voicemail. At 5.14pm I phoned Ollie again, no answer, left another voicemail. By now it was clear there was no guide coming, and no Magical Christmas Walking Tour, so we left the area and headed off back to our hotel. At 6.04pm I received a phone call from Sabrina saying she had a missed call from me (she obviously hadn’t listened to my voicemail). I explained who I was and what my problem was, and he said the tour had been cancelled. She was apologetic, offered a tour on the following day (not possible for us, we were only in London for the weekend and had other plans for Sunday) and promised a refund-which at the time of writing has NOT been actioned. What a shambles-terrible communication and poor organisation. How difficult can it be to arrange a walk around the streets of London? No transport to arrange. No admission fees to arrange. Just meet at a point and walk via various other points to a destination.

Unfortunately it was a bit confusing. First the time was changed which we did not mind because we did not have firm plans. However, the tickets had original time so we were unsure. We were able to confirm with the operator the correct time. When we got to the location for pick up, we cannot identify the tour guide. It was raining very hard and there was nothing clearly marked. Ultimately we ended up missing the event. We were really disappointed because we were looking forward to this.

I am so glad I signed up for this tour! It’s my first time in London and I wanted to know a bit more about its history whilst also taking in the scenaries and this was just perfect. The guide Ollie was super nice and kept us informed of different landmarks while also giving us time to take the view in. She was just fab! As a solo traveler I was concerned I might not have as much fun but that was not the case at all, the other people that booked the trip were also really nice. Might have to do it again next year so I can bring my family along! Would recommend it to anyone :)
