I didn't get on the bus because I was told that the bus can't arrive in an hour, but in 3 hours and that it never arrives on time because it's always crowded in traffic and that no one will be responsible for the delay! They sell tickets and write that the bus arrives in 1 hour and 10 minutes, but the bus does not arrive at that time! They play with people who have a flight and need to be on time! They sell tickets and do not indicate the possibility of a delay of up to 2 hours so that people buy tickets, and then take a risk and their money is not refunded! It's pure theft! The girl who checks the tickets is extremely rude and unprofessional! Don't fall for it and go by train - it's 5/7£ more expensive, but you'll arrive on time for sure and no one will lie to you or steal your money!

The A5 bus didn't came, we had luck with the next driver, he pick us up.. i don't recommand, but u dont have any other option.

16-1-2024 Reference: NE84743443 Busticketnr. RRAV8069 I booked an RyanAir-flight and accepted the offer of the bustransfer to the airport. I did not received the busticket on time, so had to buy a second more expensive ticket. RyanAir did not want to help me and after a week they told me I had to contact National Express. National Express did not want to help me either because they needed the request within 24h. I wonder if I get my money back. This feels like I've been stolen and from RyanAir I can expect terrible service, but I did not expect National Express to be worse. I demand £11 and a compensation for the more expensive ticket of £7,50. Besides that this matter cost me a lot of time.

The experience was horrible. The woman selling tickets was rude and hysterical, we had tickets for a bus leaving at 3 pm which was late, the 2.30 pm bus arrived at the stop at 2.50 and after screaming and shouting at everyone the woman let on the bus the people with the 2.30 pm tickets and after that she started selling tickets to those who didn’t have any instead of letting us (who already had tickets for the 3 pm coach) get on the bus, even though the bus was extremely late and it left at the same time our bus was supposed to leave. We ended up sharing a cab and wasting a lot of money, had we waited for our bus we would’ve lost our flight. Worst experience ever, just glad I always chose Stansted Express instead of this. Hope I can get my money back but considering the experience I don’t have my hopes high.

This was after being physically and verbally abused by one of your drivers. After making a complaint immediately after an incident. This is a response I get from such a poor service. Incredibly disappointing that you would have a driver like this potentially putting other customers at risk is mind blowing in itself. One of your employees can act like this and be protected by the fact he is a third party driver not working direct and there's nothing you can do about it is mind blowing. How can you be protecting customers nd drivers without video and audio recordings when things go wrong. And all it takes is for a driver to say he doesnt recall the incident obviously he knows exactly how this works and can act like this knowing that he will get away with his actions everytime. The fact it took you over 28 days to request for video footage means that nothing gets done. Thank you for your patience pending our investigation. Having heard back from the coach operator's manager, I can confirm as per the driver's statement, that the driver does not recall this incident in question and is adamant that he would never push a passenger or make any form of physical contact. As it has been over 28 days since this alleged incident occurred, unfortunately, we can no longer request or retain CCTV footage to further investigate this incident. However, rest assured that we take all complaints about the conduct of our staff very seriously and your complaint will be recorded on our centralised database to enable us to monitor trends and take further action if there are any repeat complaints of this nature. On 09/12/2023 the driver of the the 025 coach from London Victoria to Brighton refused me entry to the coach, as my ticket was, according to him, not valid. In fact, it was perfectly valid which has since been confirmed by the coach company. But he refused to even discuss what his issue was, even though I presented him with both a printed and digital copy. I haven't encountered anyone as rude and dismissive as him in a public facing role. I am a female and it was late at night and I felt extremely vulnerable. As a result I had to spend £100 getting a taxi to my destination, which I really can't afford. It was really upsetting incident.

Terrible service: the bus arrived 30 minutes late, and the driver wouldn't let me bring my small luggage on board, fearing that fragile items could break in the hold. The service delay risked making me miss my flight, and I had to take an Uber. They refuse to refund not only the Uber but also the coach ticket.

BETWEEN GOLDERS GREEN AND STANSTED First we were told the bus was full, even though we had our tickets purchased. Buying a ticket before the journey supposedly guarantees a seat, but evidently and unfortunately not. Not one to write a bad review, but customer service has been awful and not responded. We had to pay £65 for an uber and thankfully made our flight, we are luckier than many other NE customers, but still.

At first we were confused about where to get on the bus, but 2 Stansted ambulance personnel showed us that one walks out (National Express counter to buy tickets is on the right before walking out…I’m sure one could ask them, too), and it’s straight ahead, but one has to walk down a walkway (can’t see it from above). We were also happy about being able to ride earlier on both our tours from & to Stansted! Bus had AC, USB hubs, WC, Comfort, and price was perfect. I recommend the National Express to families traveling from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street, or from Paddington (Station J) Stop to Stansted Airport.
