This means that your shot will look exactly the same as the album cover!! With the help of some incredible visual aids hear all the amazing stories surrounding this incredible studio and the part it played in the history of the worlds greatest rock band. Unfortunately there is no access to the studios however we will visit the Abbey Road Studios gift shop that sells a selection of fantastic official Beatles merchandise.

Chelsea

The Apartment where it all began. Visit the apartment where the Rolling Stones lived for 18 months ( 1962/63 ) at the start of their amazing career. With the aid of some incredible photographs I will show you that this apartment has hardly changed since Mick, Keith and Brian lived there nearly 60 years ago. Please note there is no access to the property,

Kensington High Street

Visit the house where Freddie Mercury spent the last 5 years of his life. Hear how he left his home and fortune to the only person he loved. Discover the twist in the tale that leaves so many unanswered questions. Please note there is no access to the property.

Holland Park

The Tower House Holland Park is the current home of Jimmy Page. Visit his amazing Gothic home and with the help of some incredible visual aids hear how Jimmy has painstakingly restored this Victorian Gothic masterpiece. Please note that Jimmy spends a lot of time at this property. I have met him on a few occasions outside his house and he trusts me not to disturb his privacy. There is no access to the property and we need to be respectful if he or his partner, family or friends should enter or exit the building.

Notting Hill

The Death Of Hendrix. Visit the apartment where on 18th September 1970 Jimi Hendrix drew his last breath. Was it an Accident ? Was it Suicide ? Or was he murdered ? You will hear all the evidence and then you can make your own mind up. Please note there is no access to the building

Piccadilly Circus

The Beatles last ever performance from the roof of The Apple Corporation HQ, 3 Saville Row, London W1. See where The Beatles played live for the very last time on the roof of their Apple Corporations HQ in the heart of London's West End. With the help of some fantastic visual aids hear how John Lennon waved goodbye to the band "Thanks for coming and I hope we passed the audition". This building is now an Abercrombie & Fitch store so there is access to the building but not the roof.

Regent Street

Where Ziggy played Guitar! See where David Bowie stood for the album cover shot of Ziggy Stardust. Since his death in 2016 this has become a shrine for Bowie fans from all over the world to pay their respects to the "Thin White Duke." There is an extra special surprise at this landmark which will amaze all Bowie fans.

Wardour Street

Trident Studios. Stand outside the legendary Trident Studios and feel the atmosphere created by a building that has produced many of the world's greatest recordings. It takes a considerable amount of time to recite all the amazing records that have been recorded here. From Major Tom to The Yellow Brick Road its a roll call you simply won't believe!

One of the best tours I have EVER been on and we travel a lot. So fun!!! Saw so many sights and learned amazing things. Pacing was perfect- quickly went from one great spot to another but never felt rushed.Steve’senthusiasm was contagious, it was absolutely the best time. Yes it was a great Rock tour but Steve really knows so much about general history, architecture and culture that we got a wide range of info. Plan to book with Steve the next time we visit London for at least 1 tour. Thanks again for the most wonderful tour!

Steve gives a first rate personalized tour of London! Not only did we see the rock and roll sites, Steve’s gives you a great overview of London. Such fun and Steve puts his customers’ interests first. So many great photo opportunities too (he knows how clear the crosswalk and capture you in the iconic Beatles Abbey Road photo).

What a great welcome to London! This was our first visit to London and literally Steve was our first meeting upon arrival. Steve was a fantastic guide and was able to continue our tour even when streets were shut down for a large planned protest. He is energetic, funny and a great driver. It was so much fun to see parts of Englands rock and roll past. Walking across Abbey Road was excellently executed by Steve. Highly recommend this tour!

My wife surprised me with this Rock Cab tour for our anniversary in the states a few months ago and have been looking forward to it for months. We had already planned on vacationing in England in October 2023, so this fit in perfectly. Prior to arriving in the UK, Steve asked which bands we were interested in. I had MANY classic rock bands in mind, but we wanted to focus on The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, & Queen. Steve picked us up from our hotel and the AMAZING day began. Being lifelong fans of these bands, it was SO COOL seeing so many important locations that any real fan would dig! Some of the spots we saw were former homes and some current homes of our picks. It was incredible to think these legends of Rock walked these streets. Other highlights on our tour were various spots where band photo shoots occurred, where auditions happened, and where some met an unfortunate end. Additionally, we went to a couple legendary studios:Trident and Apple. Going inside wasn’t possible, but being right there where so many favorite songs were made was truly a dream come true! There were other highlights, but crossing Abbey Road as the Beatles did on the album cover was our favorite moment and Steve captures it on photo masterfully! We watched other people botch it and settle for lame pics. Not Steve! One take for us baby!!! I can’t stop smiling about the picture!!!!!! We have been talking about our tour all night! Steve is the perfect guide. This isn’t like you’re listening to an intercom in the back of a bus. You stop and get out at the locations, learn , and pose for pictures as your Rock idols did! This Rock Cab Tour is awesome for everyone, but especially for REAL fans. Steve’s wealth of knowledge and excitement about the topics made the tour so incredible. All my Classic Rock buddies are all jealous after seeing my treasure trove of pics and they’re wanting to cross the pond to ride on the Rock Cab Tour as well! In fact, my wife and I enjoyed this tour so much, we’re already talking about coming back to the UK again next year to experience another Rock Cab Tour!!! Are You Experienced?? 👊😎🇬🇧 -Todd & Carrie

Definitely our favorite tour of our London trip! Steve is an amazing guide. We got to drive around in a black cab to many historically significant rock locations, including Freddie Mercury’s house, John Lennon/Ringo Starr’s apartment, Abbey Road crossing, and the location where the Beatles played on the roof. Steve is a wealth of knowledge on London rock history. Friendliest guy you can meet and took pictures of our family at every stop! We will be doing this tour again when we come back to London! Thank you Steve for a great and memorable experience!

Awesome experience. Steve was great. We learned so much and he was able to make me a Paul McCarthy fan. We will do this experience again when we come back. Thanks Steve

I booked the Rock Cab for 2 hours and Steve got right in touch to firm up details. He also checked in a few times as the tour got closer. I'm a music trivia nerd, especially the 60s, and he gladly adjusted the itinerary to my preferences. He hilariously stopped traffic so I could get a photo on Abbey Road. My friend and I had an absolute blast, we never felt rushed, and having a dedicated driver allowed us to fully enjoy the entire experience. I won't hesitate to rebook next time I'm in London.
