This was a beautiful tour of Castelmola and Taormina. Castelmola is a picturesque village that looks like it's out of a movie -and you can see Mt. Etna smoking in the background. Our guide walked us around the village and we got some delicious gelato. Then we went to Taormina and it was cute but we only saw the main street and didn't have time for the Greek Theater. We wanted to stop at a beach bc it was almost 100 degrees that day, and the guide had no idea where to take us, and didn't seem very keen on taking us to a beach. We were traveling with 6 kids and they needed to cool off in the water. We finally made it to a beach on our drive back to the ship but could only stay for 15 minutes because of a jellyfish and the time. It would be great if the guide was more flexible.

We had a wonderful time in Sicily. Our guide and driver were outstanding. Our guide gave us a lot of information and history of the area and tailor made the tour for us. She also recommended a very good pizza place for lunch.
