So disappointed and rather strange. We (family of 4 adults) were not given any information or introduction on arrival at the vineyard, quickly brought to kitchen. Owner created rushed and awkward atmosphere during cooking class prodding the cooking instructor to move quicker. We each made a ball of Pici pasta (size of a small orange) but were told that WE WOULD NOT be cooking or eating all of the pasta as it was to much pasta!!!!. (Not allowed to take left overs I guess!!). And NO it was definitely not to much pasta for 4 adults. So some of the prepared pasta dough was removed!!! Did it get thrown away? Did they make dinner for themselves with it? We were perplexed. We made ricotta gnocchi (NOT POTATO) but again only some of the gnocchi was served the rest withheld. We took a picture of the tray of pasta we made and the amount that we were served so sad. We then made 2 small single layer ~5x7” cakes for dessert but again only 4 small pieces were served to us and the rest of the cake withheld???? We were so confused as to where all of the pasta and dessert went. For 160 USD pp really??? Exactly 4 small samples of wine pp were served with a short quick description. We would have loved to learn more about the wine, how to taste and given the rest of the food we personally prepared in a take away package to enjoy later but we were only given a paper and pen to purchase expensive wine. Take time to look at other options for your Tuscan experience. We are sorry to say we would definitely not recommend or repeat this experience.

I was a bit disappointed by the cooking class. It was mainly cutting work (everone a half paprika and everyone some tomatoes) that you would do and the real cooking was done by the cheff. Also, it felt a bit rushed and the real cooking lesson/class only took 1 hour and the rest of the time was filled with eating what you cooked. The staff was nice and the place is beautiful, but for this price i had expected more.

Of our group of four, none of us were overly impressed with this activity. The chef didn’t speak any English, so she didn’t interact much with anyone in the class and the English speaking host just narrated and told us what to do, without adding any fun or personality to the experience. There was no actual cooking by the participants, just chopping of vegetables and rolling/cutting pieces of dough. Luckily the other class participants were lovely company so we all had a nice dinner together however I left wishing that I had chosen a different place for a Tuscan cooking experience.

Loved our experience here! Such warm and wonderful staff. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Tip to get there: do not use a street address. Search for “Podere La Marronaia.” That got us to the right place. Enjoy!

We had such a wonderful time at our cooking class - we made ricotta gnocchi with a fresh tomato sauce, tiramisu truffles, and bruschetta three ways. We also sampled prosciutto and melon and pecorino cheese. We enjoyed a small tour of the vineyards and a lovely tasting of their wines and olive oils. I never knew simple cooking could be so very delicious. I would 100% go back to this winery for the same or different experiences - the people were so nice - Sarah, our host, was very knowledgeable and kind. Vittoria was an encouraging teacher and excellent chef! Highly recommend! Can’t wait for our wine and olive oil to arrive in the states!

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend this winery tour, tasting, and cooking class. Julia and the staff were wonderful. We made dessert, four types of bruschetta, and home made gnocchi! Then we enjoyed our food while tasting several wines and oils. The family atmosphere, history of the vineyard, wonderful food, instruction, and wines and oils coupled with the beautiful scenery should not be missed!

This class was one of the highlights of our trip! The cooking lesson with the friendly and informative instructors and assistants was fun, informative and convivial. We made three pastas and sauces and then were treated to a lovely lunch with our dishes, and a wine and olive oil tasting. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves pasta and enjoys cooking.

Was a fanstastic experience and we finally know how to make GREAT Tiramasu! The hostess and chef were fantastic, the food was great but the best part was the dogs who showed us around the vineyard and property. They were more excited to show us around than anyone. Just a great experience
