Really special experience. Stefano is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. He also has a great sense humour which made the evening very uplifting. The wine was great as was the accompanying traditional dishes. 10 out of 10. Would recommend to anyone with even the slightest interest in wine.

A little cozy wine shop just out of the historic center of Lecce. Asked for a wine tasting while not available yet, luckily that was no problem at all. After entering the wine shop, you enter the “backyard” where you sit down underneath lemon trees in a really cozy setting. Stefano’s knowledge about the wines from the Salento region is amazing! All the history and information while enjoying the nicest selection of wines was just astonishing. And of course we could not help to treat ourselves to a selection of wines we had tasted 😏. Really worth going there, you will not be disappointed!

Such a fun wine tasting. The location wasn't what we expected which made it even better. Big lemon trees, lots and lots of excellent local wines accompanied by lovely food and a great guide who was both passionate and knowledgable about the local wine industry.

We arrived for the tasting and were told that there was no room for us in the class. Stephan was waiting for 3 more people to arrive. I confirmed with him that we reserved the tasting over a month ago and paid in full. He didn't care and refunded our fee

Gorgeous setting for our fun and informative evening. Like popping round to a friend's in their local town, a real taste of the region. Very generous helpings accompanied by delicious local foods. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed the wines Stefano poured for us, and eloquently told us about. We learned so much not only about the wines of Salento, but also the fascinating history, society and culture of the region. Local traditional food specialties complemented the wines. A delightful evening with a great host!

This was such a wonderful experience. Stefano is clearly a passionate advocate for helping people discover the Salerno region. He provided and excellent selection of wines and local foods with in depth explanations, guidance, history, and science. The wines were sequenced that in a way that was educational and curated. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to discover the viticultural and agricultural specialties of the Salerno region. 10/10!!

Truly Stefano is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about about wine. This was an amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Stefano was a kind, knowledgeable and generous host in his wine shop in Lecce offering us history, culture, breads, cheeses and lots and lots of wine (6 “tastings”/ bottles!). Despite our being 20 minutes late, Stefano spent more than 2 hours walking us through the geography and grapes of Puglia (mainly Negroamaro and Primativa) and patiently taught us to appreciate “Rosato” (eg Rose!) all while sitting under a lemon tree in the yard behind his shop. I would highly recommend this introduction to anyone coming to Lecce who likes to pair wine with food. Come ready to eat, drink and learn from a passionate PhD chemist who knows his stuff, loves his hometown and found a way to make wine his life’s work.
